A checkpoint at 3, 5, and 8 stars would help. Dying at 6 stars from a miss clip and going all the way back to .5 stars with maxed XP is frustrating to say the least.

Is there any kind of storage for items you pick up and want to use later but don't want to sell? Seems like if you get legendary items that don't work with your build, you should be able to keep them somewhere for you to start a different run with.

Fun and addictive little game. It could be even better with crafting and smithing. I'd love to take all my amulets and rings and combine them to make higher stat or better level items.
Perhaps being able to add more items to the "enchanting" could change the success rate.

really easy once you get the lightening sword and a shield so its really easy for me and is the score based on coins?

I wish he would attack in the direction of the mouse. Having to keep holding down WASD to attack in a direction is counter intuitive.

Graphics are great but I feel like the game could do with something to really real us in:
1) what is our purpose, what is our goal, give us some back story, or create dialogue that promotes a connection from the player to our hero
2) we are just brought into the game without any guidance, if that is intentional (kinda of like a souls-like) then I feel like it would make it more rewarding if we could find hidden lore or if items we pick up game with descriptions of the inhabitants that would own or who/how the items came to be
It definitely has a lot of time put into it and all it really needs is some life/soul to the game and I am confident this game would be huge!

Good game, sadly it got repetitive after a while and I can't see when I'll reach the end (if there's even one) so I stopped playing after like 4 hours
Staffs are broken btw, if you get a % attack speed bonus they start shooting twice so they do double dmg, combine that with good HP buffs on a Vampire staff and you are practically invincible, only died twice before I found the Vampire staff strat so I guess that shows you how op it is :D
It would be nice if we could upgrade the Artefacts, adding other things to spend money on would be nice too, like consumable items or smaller permanent buffs :)
One last thing, the mov speed when you start is just too slow, I literally got "Quickness" to lvl 15 before I even tried upgrading anything else, that combined with lvl 5 green orb thingy to increase the mov speed up to 40% made the game playable, I had to use weapons with +mov speed just so I wouldn't get too bored, I'd suggest increasing the base mov speed by at least 30% :p

Literally unplayable. There is so much lag my character takes seconds to start moving. All the game rendered was grey silhouettes of characters and enemies.

Make so we break crates by just walking near them OR greatly reduce their number, hide them better, and greatly increase gold amount. Also remove or add a few more dying noises for the enemies. Did this game used to have a soundtrack? Nothing plays for me.

Really nice game, a bit grindy since you're mostly kiting enemies around and searching for a good combination of items while not dying until you're a high enough level to have the right bonuses, while weapon enchanting tends to fail a lot. Your best combos are either the ranged staff that lets you teleport and slow/trap groups of enemies or a sword and shield letting you dash around and heal consistently. Gold quickly becomes pointless with the way enchanting, doesn't, work and therefore so do the crates scattered around.
I'd like a way to survive battling groups of enemies and archers and being able to heal up afterwards, perhaps a mechanic of just standing still for a few seconds would give you quick regen. As well a more reliable way to pick upgrades. If I'm going for a certain approach I'd don't want to make 15 runs to get one or two points because everything I earn is scattered randomly into all of the possibilities, and worse on weapon enchanting locking out what I would want.

Nice little game, couldn't expect anything more from a free game like this. Incase you want future improvement ideas, here are some:
1. Add more rarity levels to weapons and/or make it harder to get legendary items. Also a way to modify enchantments would be cool that for example if you got a perfect weapon but don't like that it has +xp boost, you could change that. There ain't much to do with money..
2. Crates takes too much time to destroy compared to combat, maybe reduce the numbers but add better rewards to them.
3. It would be also cool to be able to switch some skills. For example I like using my greatsword, but the roll and the attack skill both are quite bad imo. The attack skill does same/less damage than my normal crit (and I got 50% crit chance atm..)

This game is really nice - the best i played this year so far. It's so enjoyable. There is a huge potential, if you could consider creating some armors, and maybe a pvp arena? Also after maxing out you stats, new poinst could be spared on maxing your abilities increasing its damage?

i personally think the game is great but their is just one problem: when you die, you lose everything and just when you get used to using somthing like a greatsword, they give you a bow or a sword and shield. oh and can you add more variety of weapons and make then enviroment more interactive like going inside the houses. that reminds me, can you make the town a teleportable place at the end of each level so if you have any points to spend or you have too much money, you can head there and do stuff. thats all i have to say. and again, i think the game is pretty cool, cause i have full legendary gear and max artifacts. oh and i've killed the boss 5 times already.

staves seem cursed they randomly execute specials generally resulting in my death. also looking at your backpack in combat = death because you can no longer attack.

Great basic game imo. Couple of suggestions:
Add checkpoints after every 5 stars.
Add some way to reroll affixes
Add way to combine artifacts into stronger versions or increase the limit from 8.
Add enemies obviously.

Currently in 7.5 star difficulty and character level 66. Maxed out all level upgrades in base, have 100% crit chance bow dealing 195% crits, and firing arrows over twice a second. I could keep going to see if this stops at 10 stars... but meh.
