bugs:
1. there's a certain type of box crate whose hit box is literally at the top corner of the box, making it a pain to hit with bows.
2. when you're partially out of the screen, the projectiles you shoot won't make it to the map unless the starting position of the projectile is visible.
3. if enemy dies at the edge of the screen and it drops a green upgrade, it's possible that you can't reach said upgrade
4. even if critical rate is above 100%, there are attacks which don't get critical
wishlist:
1. would be great to spice things up after all green upgrades have been collected and all stats maxed out after level 61
2. some way to show how your stats would change if you were to equip an item instead of the current one would make planning SO MUCH EASIER
3. something instead of space bar to control the 2nd power. e.g. teleporting would be amazing if it wouldn't be so inconvenient to use

I'd also love to be able to remap controls. The SPACE (movement) skill is far less useful than the enhanced attack, which is mapped to a left click.

The basic game has a lot going for it. Nice graphics and environments. Rogue playstyle good. Upgrades good. It seems a bit simple in some of these areas but hopefully some updates will expand on the basics.
However, the combat is dragged down by lag (maybe make a low-graphics option or streamline the engine) and the weapon types are really imbalanced. Some are easy, some are a joke. Targeting is, excuse the pun, hit-and-miss. It would be nice if the targeted object/enemy would get a red outline when you'll hit it. I don't mind the current hitboxes, but it would be nice to know if you're in one. Also, having SOME health drop would be welcome, especially early. Even one or two points occasionally.

Are chests allowed? It would be great if we could leave some of our items behind and get them back later when we die and lose our stuff.

1) Change the "green arrow" upgrades to something else once you have all upgrades maxed. For example a temporary xp-gained boost. 2) Gold becomes abundant pretty soon. I suggest letting us buy & upgrade skills in town instead of binding them to items. The offensive skills can still require certain items but this would give you the option to add more skills. So far the staff skills are my favourites and the great sword roll is the worst skill, maybe make it a quake leap instaed. 3) An optional hardmode that you can switch on in town would be great. Double enemy hp + xp gained for example. 4) Range is king, half of the enemies are harmless incl. some bosses. Melee could be buffed with some unique skills. 5) Let the "fire aura" destroy containers as well.

Best weapon is Piercing Bow, the multi piercing shot kills everything, and it alsos pierce crates making the way much easier, but it's rare to get :( i died and never found another anymore

i found a bug where you can skip levels by quickly clicking one lvl and the other ones will appear and you can click those, too.

Very nice fluid roguelike experience. I want to add few ideas tho:
-Another money dump. For example reroll the numerics on the items or/and reroll all specs on weapon.
-Repetable ending. For example after 3 star kill big meanie and ascend for bonus stats or something.
-Exit marker after killing all enemies.
-Last enemy marker after killing some of the enemies
-Movement skills to break boxes and barrels.

Traps are excessive difficult to pass and do way too much damage. Feels like pixel perfect gaps. Unfortunately most of my deaths are to traps and its incredibly frustrating to lose a great run to an impossible trap.

Any chance you can add keyboard options for the mouse-click controls, since they don't seem to be dependent on direction or cursor location at all? using both mouse and keyboard is awkward on my laptop, especially since it hates accepting input from both sources at once.

First, I wanted to write down a big comment with every single detail, but now I will just point out most crucial things in game. Penetration Bow is the best mob killer weapon in game. Lightning Staff is the best single targe killer weapon in game with control skill. With these two you can faceroll any dangers in this game. Max difficulty is 10 stars, and... restart at 10 stars again. No ending, no reward window, nothing. After level 60 (when you max out talents) you gain those points which you can't spend anywhere. Why not lock character level at that point? Dash in the direction where you look, not in where you move sucks. Mobs are not moving around, they always stand at spawn point. Due to lack of "maps", you learn every spawn point and never be killed with some random mob hunting for you. No ability to reroll stats on items or to abandon enchantments - sucks. Melee is the hardest to manage and survive long. Thanks for the game, chilling on 10 stars, waiting for new content.

I really like this game and especially the graphics. Why not add a "dodge" stat and/or give the character a 100% dodge chance during the "roll" ability (using space)? It would make the use of Greatswords and Bows so much more interesting.

Basic pointers since this game lacks basic instructions. You are going to die, you will lose your stuff! That is not a big deal as you keep your level. Note that the game saves when you reach the town, -every- time. I recommend you save money and when you start with a weapon you like, buy an “Artefact” followed by enchanting your weapon. If you do not like the results from the 2 chests, remember, the game saved before you spent your gold *cough. Even if you do not get a weapon you like, you can still play. Chances are, you will get it soon as a drop. I also buy an “Artefact” every time I reach town, even if I have 8 already. I find the staff the best weapon and teleporting over traps is a nice bonus.

So, from whatever reason, wearing any shield increases my damage by 8....
Makes using other weapons kinda not worth it....

Put the Right click ability on E or Q please. Whenever I try to use it I HAVE TO not press any other button or it opens a new time / closes the tab / goes back whatever.

Extra ideas:
1. Use extra points to increase dmg/defense/health
2. Add extra items slots to further expand variations
3. Add ability to reroll stat on an item at a coin cost.
4. add 5th upgrade of items (Artifact instead of Artefact) with a 5% chance
5. Add ability to combine 3 artifacts into 1 more powerful (3 * x -> x+1, 3 * x+1 -> x+2 and so on)

Certain ranged weapons will shoot a SECOND projectile on each shot when they have the attack speed increase enchant on there twice. If this is actually a bug, please don't fix it, because its not super easy to get and its so much fun.

Best power setup is shield with 15% block innate and axe/sword. You can easily get block rate over 50%, making you basically immortal with heal+defense+regen. For leveling up, I found and enchanted a staff that gave me about 80% experience bonus, which is used to clear up everything until the boss fight.

Keep up the dev on this, please. it has some really high potential. I would love to see this on steam as a coop game (not mmo, just lan co-op perhaps), after it has really been fleshed out. you have some great artwork and animations! Thank you for the hard work, and I look forward to more developments (and I would pay for this eventually).

Jono, have you tried increasing your stats? Those upgrades stay even if you die. Items are so OP it because extremely easy to steamroll the game, but yes you have to be careful about dying or you have to get them again.

Dead again. Spawning without a HP generating item means you are basically f'd. This game has such an amazing inventory system/enchantment etc. It's been rendered unplayable by an inability to simply save the game.

Are there instructions to this? I feel like I am missing something. There are no controls, doesn't seem to be a save option? I spent hours upgrading and enchanting then died and lost all my inventory

Item disappears on enchanting table - I dragged shield over sword in the enchantment slot, shield disappeared, sword was still in the slot.

Anyone figured out how attack and defense work? All other stats are pretty obvious.
Hard to decide which shield is better, with a lot of defense, or some more chance to block. :P
