Can we get a way to view quests while playing the game and not just in town. I always forget the quests, especially when stopping and starting again. Alaso reset skills would be nice. Decent game though.

The game itself have a nice mechanics, tipical Hack'n slash, its good nice graphics good gameplay, i believe it can grow a lot, more weaps, more skills maybe, it starts to get really easy after beating it the second time, if you have a staff that steals life. So teleport, soak enemies and atack from distance stealing health makes the game pretty easy. Combining weaps, unique weaps, maybe create sets, armors etc. will make the game more interesting and not boring after some time! It is a great game though.

There are 4 right-click skills: staffs make a vortex that sucks enemies in and damages them, but fast enemies can escape, bows deal damage in an arc of about 120 degrees, shields heal you, and greatswords drop a critical hit on a small area around your cursor. Keeping a sword and shield around just for healing is viable and works much better than waiting for passive healing to work.

For the most part I enjoy the game. My only thing I would like to see is the spinning blade traps being a little further spread apart. I think they are a little too close to each other given the controls. If you have a staff you can simply teleport past them, but if you don't its more frustrating than challenging. Other than that its a good rougelike and i definitely replayed it a couple times.

I think it really needs more speed. Movement speed first and foremost, even with 25% speed extra it feels way too slow. But also leveling speed. I'm only level 25 and get maybe one level up per boss

When reaching 2.5 A/S on staff, you start casting two projectiles each attack. I have reached it with maxed Quickness, 50% perm buff, and 26% AS on staff.

When you start out looking for SOME way to replenish life is a good advise. Be it through passive regeneration, lifesteal from various weapon types or by using artefacts (here are a few artefact types that help with healing actually) After you collected a bunch of those green powerup spheres on a run you will naturally become very powerful and unless you get reckless you won't really get into danger anymore. I haven't even invested into the defense tree yet and I only died on my last run cuz i was dumb xD But then again, I did gain a load of levels- so I now next run will be easier

@discolust No idea about the framerate or what is causing it on your end, but if it is about general movement, you are very slow at the start. Canges a lot with some upgrades though. As for dying - well it is a roquelike....roquelite actually , since your levels DO carry over. Even if you die a lot, you will eventually become very powerful anway.

To start, this is not an RPG. The animations are nice, but the handling is very bad. Melee is frustrating because 1. how many attacks are done on a mouse down is very hard to guess and 2. one has the instinct to just point with the mouse and expect the character to turn that way. Which I think should be how it works if the LMB is held down. Also, both melee and ranged attacks are inaccurate.

It was fun for a few hours, the graphic and gameplay was better than most I seen for a long time on Kongreagate. Of course there is a few nips and tucks, but the only really thing I can put my finger on, is what is the end goal? Do you just play this for ever and ever or is there an ending to the game?

For me best weapon combo was the one handed axe that has a chance for fire damage and the shield that attacks faster after block. Blows through stages 100% faster than the staffs. Also gives you a ton of room for error as you are 20 times more tanky and get a self heal. The DPS is insane after a block. Make sure to get the block skill tree and get the defense added too attack. Too op

Some other points: If you are on the top of the screen with a bow and shooting down, the arrow won't appear. The bullseye artifact (+5% crit rate with *ranged* weapons) doesn't work with staffs. There should be a way to roll again a specific task - I use staffs / bows, I don't want to block 20 times. After 3 stars, the game gets boring. The obstacles locations are just boring when you get a staff. There should be a way to improve the artifacts - in ~1h you will get into a point that you will just sell all the artifacts that you get, as you already have the ones that you want equipped. Greatswords doesn't seem good enough.
It is a nice game, but needs to be more polished.

When I click play, there are HUD elements and I can hear movement sounds when I WASD, but the game pane is otherwise black. Is there something I need to do?

Game looks nice, the graphs and animations are very good, been playing it for a while. But: Aiming the bow with mouse is bad, feels the arrow doesn't go where you want to. The wooden planks traps should look more as a trap. The rotatory blades trap hits you from more far than it should. There should be a way to decrease graphics. There is a ~0.5s lag when you die or click on a new location on the map - and you can even skip a location if you click fast enough the next location of the one you firstly selected (bug easily fixable). The time after you attack that you can't move should be slightly shorter, even with nice attack and move speed it feels weird.

Max level is 61, max star difficulty is 10. Lifesteal staff is the best. At 2.4 attacks per second you start throwing out two missiles at once and you mow everything down. Archers do about 20 damage per hit at 10 stars. Really fun game, I wish that the melee weapons were easier to control.

Would be nice if you could reset the game to Zero. Once you run through everything, there's not much of a challenge...

Consider removing that 10% heal efect on weapons it`s way 2 OP.I was fighting with staf from level 1 and reached 5 stars not only without any problems but later on after geting some atack speed face tanking all mobs bosses included.

Another welcoming quality of life upgrade would be reworking the way how progressing to new levels works , not simply because you have to walk constantly around the map but also because to end of the level is ALWAYS hidden somewhere awkward , such as the top left in the room before the first boss , and much others i can list , giving a button to instantly finish the map next to the mobs killed progression would reduce the stress to play

It would be better if incase a mob aggro you , all mobs in a radius would also turn active , just like a chain effect , it would balance the difficulty as big group of enemies are supposed to be challenging but you can just slowly walk and fight them 1 by 1 which is awkward. Otherwise very nice game , its been long since i meet a good kongregate game... Love you.

Great job! A long time without seeing anythigh so good for me. I think you can easily make a great UX upgrade changing the icon of trash (when you are droping an item) for one of a money bag, so the player can be trustfull clening the inventory. Anyway good job. Keep on developing things like this!

A nice thing to add it the ability to change the mouse 2 and space key binds.
I personally accidentally teleported onto an enemy many times instead of trapping them

Issues with the controls aside, I like this. We don't ee tht many proper games on kong anymore nowads, nd while it is a bit rough around the edges this def has some charme.

giving it 3/5 because it has potential, but the movement needs tweaking and so do hitboxes. Some of the hitboxes are just dreadful.

Super Grindy, in the least interesting way. The movement is extremely slow, even with 30 minutes worth of points spent upgrading the speed. The enemies are immune to spikes, so if an archer stands in the middle of some spikes, you are unable to defeat it with a melee weapon. The gambling on upgrades is extremely irritating. The player attacks have a frustrating amount of front-lag, and there is no way to tell whether you will hit an enemy before you attack, even if you're adjacent to them and your cursor is in the middle of their sprite during the whole attack chain. I gave it two stars, but only because the graphics and sounds are pretty good.

win 7. chrome. not sure if the problem is on my side or not, but right now when i try to open the game i'm getting the kongregate loading image (the and with the red progress bar or whatever that is underneath) that's obstructing an error message (from which i can only make out the first and last words, "your" and "API" respectively.

Really cool game, but it takes a long time to get appreciably stronger. I'm losing interest in grinding hours to advance.

Sooooo, yeah.....don't kill yourself on purpose to see what happens....Was on 4 1/2 stars and decided ehhh I haven't died this whole time. I wonder what happens....yeah....lost all my gear. Which sucks because I was bascially crit hit everything T_T

If you use the lightning blade sword[+25% atk speed] and the 3 gem shield[on block you swing 50% faster for 5 seconds] you become a tornado of steel. If you have high health regen with the help of a few drumstick artifacts you can go absolutely insane on any group of enemies regardless of size.

You max out your gear too fast. It's not that difficult to find legendary items fairly early and you can't improve them.

Why is there no armor on my guy? I'd like that aswell as some simple customization to his looks. Great game although It does get repetitive after you are on 3 star difficulty.

The fighting Animations are quite cool and fun to watch, but after Clearing the Dungeon is there any lategame-upgrading ?

Not sure what's so graphic intensive about this game only gets about 4 frames per second on Chrome. Hopefully this can be fixed in the future.
