testament to how op bubbleboys are: in raids they are present depending of rng you can go easy all way to 1.5 or get stuck into 1.1 (yes on same raid) and it keeps varying until you have enough power to oneshot mage entire group of bubbled enemies.

Bubblesboys really could need nerf ... you need about 4x more power to beat section of bubbleboys than you need to beat zones boss.

The Kongregate UI is layered over the top of the game. Covers the leftmost inch or so of the game.

@boxes: Spell XP is gained at a constant rate over time that depends on which spell slot the spell is in and whether you're online or offline. Lower cooldowns and more spell casts don't affect XP gain. That said, if you do want to skip the cooldown-increasing research, go to the options menu and find "TM lags ER". Increasing this causes Tempered Magic (which makes spells slower but stronger) to only appear after you've accumulated a certain number of research in Expedient Recitation (which makes spells faster).

Is there a way to 'dismiss' a research from the Academy? I want to skip the cooldown-increasing part of it, because it looks like you get XP for each skill usage, meaning lower cooldowns equals faster leveling, no?

@aqua787 Go into the Tower, and use the TM Lag feature. It tells the game how many levels of cooldown you want before any levels of attack are allowed to show up for research. Personally run at 3 or 4 TM lag, seems to work for me.

so ive only gotten one meditation so far, first run i avoided attack boost research since it nerfs cooldowns and some of the spells start out with to long cool downs. seemed to take a verry long time to reach meditation is my spam with many weaker spells plan flawed?

Any chance of increasing the size/appearance of the cursor? I lose interest because I just miss most drops while trying to see where the cursor is :(

Think there's a bug with the ice wall spell- the spikes seem to only do a hundredth of the damage as listed. For my reference if the dev wants to look into this, at my power (~2e15) it says they should do 30e15 damage, but they appear to only be doing 300e12. It's doing way less damage than my other spells, despite it seeming like it should be on par, so thought that'd be worth reporting.

Two bugs/things to be careful of. First, Death Ray Q2+ won't kill Jelly Man enemies, though it'll kill any other non-boss enemy I've found so far.
Second, if you have Damage Mitigation up, it won't count as being attacked for Adrenaline Surge. Furthermore, it's killed Adrenaline Surge for me for at least a couple of hours. Should come back when I log back in, but not sure, haven't tested yet.

It's not reallly an idle game - beacause you cannot play it, if you are idle 99% of the time. The only idle element I see is that the researchgoes on while you idle. Everything else stops like 2 minutes after going away. The mage is shieldedand just waits for you to restart manually. So theres no power gain as he doesn't kill enemys by himself. The mag should auto-restart after 10 minutes after dead or something like that.

If you need power find a group of elven summoners and they will summon themselves and they also do not damage you so it will be a never ending loop

I'll start with this: It's a fun game. It's got a lot going for it. The Runes are neat, the spell system is fun. I like it.
Here's my complaint: When resetting, you're punished for going beyond the minimum, but not reaching the next tier. This feels frustrating, and like it could be fixed, either by reducing the cost to the next tier by the over amount, or by making it less rigid in general. I don't know your personal coding skills, so I don't know which would work for you, but hopefully you can do one of those.

Would just like to complain that I spent a few dollars on the game, only to come back to my account gone and the game expecting me to restart... I don't think that this should be acceptable...

The Game Dev still active on this? Seems to have all slowed down massively. Course I'm still waiting for that update that fixes many of the things I and others have mention before, esp spell exp gain rate.
Hey! I'm somewhat active, but not very; 95% of my time is going towards my next project. I hope to be putting out new updates every few months or so, but the game is complete in my eyes. Cheers! :)

@fifizzlol and other still wondering. Yes, passives on the right side work even if the spell isn't equipped. Only those on the left side apply only when the spell is equipped.
