@TopCog--- Question: Does Inferno stack with itself and if so how? 1.1 Aug states that when it deals damage it reduces CD by 5% one second. So If I have 7 inferno out in that 4 second window does that mean every second Inferno's CD is getting reduced by 35%? Is there a maximum CD? Like can a spell be cast every 0.001 seconds?
Great questions! Each Inferno Aug 1.1 will only impact itself - so the bonus does not stack. The effective minimum CD is one cats per frame, so 1/60 s = 16 ms = 0.016 s. Cheers! :)
Indeed - it increases the speed at which the mage uses - however, it's not always useful! It can be useful while Reclaiming or at the Portal, however :)

I'd like the description for "Summoner/summoning link" to be more precise, is this a permanent buff (I assumed by reading) or is it only affecting current summons? or is it summons for this one run?

When a spell is ready to rank up, it should still store earned xp towards next rank. Gaining spell XP is hard enough as is.

Great game, works as in idle and as an active game.
1 suggestion which could add an extra level of depth and player satisfaction would be to have options to change and upgrade your avatar,
for example which each level of enchantment your lil 16bit pixel staff gets slightly more impressive, or with each meditation your avatar grows and looks increasingly badass.
Would make this addictive game even more addictive.

I love this game. Of all the idle/upgrade games out there, this one has the right amount of complexity without being overwhelming. As mentioned, checking in more often is rewarded and you can't spam with an auto clicker. Grinds are grinds and we either enjoy them for what they are or we don't. Getting hints at later rewards early is huge in encouraging me to get to say Zone 29... One thing I have a question about: Is there a way to make the cursor easier to see? Half the time I'm missing out on drops because I have a heck of a time finding the arrow (on a mac, if that helps). Half the time I accidentally open the spell book or recall without meaning to as a result.

My only wish currently for this game, is spell exp to come much faster. Takes forever to rank up spells, been like 2-3weeks and still don't have five rank 1.5 spells, that's with swapping them to the 100% and 50% slots as well.

What others have said: For a game with the 'Idle' tag, 'Idle' in its name and the grind of a 'Idle' game, it's not very Idle friendly. Unfortunately it's not entertaining enough to spam Recall, catch runes and start a few researches actively in the long run either. Active play should reward more than idling, yes, but not by this huge margin.

What is the point of the speed increase? Isnt running faster towards the enemy suicidal for a mage?? Started wondering this after the ungodly amounts of the green gassers have made this raid neigh impossible. :/

hm, played this game for like 5 days now, really like it :)
The thing i have to criticise most tho is the slow xp gain for spells. it takes ages, and you only make progress on the 100% and 50% ones, the rest feels non-affected by exp gain at all imo.

Not personally a fan of all the having to click floating runes, and possibly rune caches (when I meet one at any point?) I know you made this kind of game, but I still have to tell you, not cool ^.^

I feel like having accumulated power makes my raids unnecesarily hard, to the point where I can't beat it atm. (I'm pretty much stuck at the start spells +1 more anyways), now the raids being like a primary source to gain new spells to deal with these kind of enemies makes it extremely hard to actually deal with, plus they seem to scale to my power, so I can't do much in terms of grinding to overrcompensate...

I think "Firebomb" should either move faster, be fired at a better angle, or have a longer duration before the missile expires, I see alot of these firebombs just "wiff" out of existence before dealing damage, due to being way too slow.

@Seedney, you can get auto recall runes to drop and there is the lantern that comes later. Also, the games more on the active side then the idle side.

For runes like reduces raid timer, reduces research timer and reclaim runes, it would be nice if they only dropped when it would be helpful. Perhaps 2 separate drop tables, one for support runes and one for casting spell runes.

TopCog, I suggest changing the death ray's name to death beam, a ray is something that spreads out and a beam is focused onto one thing, the death ray focuses in it's sprite, not spreads, sorry, I am a really technical person.
Hehe, no problem - you are correct, the name could be changed to beam and it might be more accurate! Not sure it's worth changing at this point, as so much as already been written about it, but we'll see. Thanks!

1) Icy Prism appears to stack with itself. It happens when I hit multiple times against trolls. Does it stack?
Elven High Wizard/Mage that monster needs a nerf. There are so few non projectile spells that it basically means you can't have any other spells. Maybe per projectile hit it counters a projectile in air so if hit by 8 dots of firestorm only 4 dots would hit.
Can we get a healing spell or passive?
certain spells take off %damage worth of armor--- can enemies go into negative armor rating and take extra damage?
Hey there! Yes, Icy Prism does stack with itself! There are a few different ways to deal with High Elven Mages - try asking in chat or posting on the forum to get some ideas from others! Later on you will unlock a few defensive skills. Enemies cannot have negative armor. Cheers!

mage health should depend on mage power, more than once im stuck and getting destroyed and then i get 4 mage health ups in a row and everything is fine for a while

how about q4 health rune that gives 25% max hp shield and q5 rune 100% max hp shield, they would've been pretty useful

Does the cldn bonus increase the cooldown or decrease it? Fire Elemental (like all of the spells) Show a 30.0 s cooldown.... cldn bonus x1.13 which makes the cooldown 33.9 seconds, which is longer. Or am I reading that wrong?

And remove this useless summoner's link item, since it only works once until you die, if it lasted until you restarted the game maybe it would have had some useage.

Ok I played for a few days now and I really love it. Weirdly enough my main complaint is, that I often just cannot find the mouse pointer anymore after I look off screen for a second. Most Elements are rather dark, as is the pointer and there is just so many moving things, that it's really hard to make out where it is. Is there a way to make it stand out a little more (white/pink/bigger...), maybe as an option?

I'd love the mute button to be more accessible. The first 5 minutes of the game, I was focused mainly on finding it and not spending any attention on the rest of the game, which is kinda frustrating :/

I realized I could just import the cloud save to the other browser. So I did and nope, all the spells are still as slow...

And just now the Blizzard spell just stopped casting for no reason, then it started again and now the cd is twice as long.......It's about facking 35 secs now...

The cd of the spells works in Firefox atleast, but as I said, I would have to restart from scratch and I refuse that. 15 min for the buffs in the Temple is way to low, make it 1 hour instead. And the Speedy whatever the name is that lowers your cd should affect all spells, not just one. Fix this problems please =)

Nope. refreshing didn't work. And when I use another browser I have to restart from the beginning and I refuse to do that..
