Hey there, I think that's a perfectly reasonable request. I'll try to get it into the next update, so that doing almost anything reverts you to the Active XP rate! Cheers!

The Power Surge/Reclamation of power items doesn't work to click. Great game indeed =) And sometimes 1 spell stops charging for some reason.
Hey there! I think you can only activate those Runes while Reclaiming. Also, Spells may be paused by certain enemies which can stun the Mage! Cheers! :)

There could be a 4th tree with a lot of these support spells like heal, bonus power/gold, perception, speedy casting, blink, etc. You'd be trading a damage spell in build for a support spell so it wouldn't be a strait boost. And cooldowns could be adjusted so they weren't active 100% of the time without a very large cooldown bonus, which would again be another tradeoff of spell power for keeping a bonus spell or 2 active all the time.

Game looks like fun but I never got any real chance to play it. The first time I tried I got an error SoundManager: False INIT_TIMEOUt. So I gave up then tried again a few days later and got into the tutorial. I clicked on a different tab to check on something and came back with the game frozen forcing me to close the tab and now I get the same sound manager error message.

the screen is a bit too long. It needs to be shortened a bit, can't see the whole game without cutting off the top or bottom. I'd also make the mouse pointer bigger or more noticeable. There's a lot going on in the game screen and I find myself missing clickables because I can't find the mouse pointer in time.
Hey, thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately, due to backend constraints, making the screen smaller causes the font to become very hard to read. If it becomes an issue for a lot of people, however, I'll look into finding a way to improve things! Thanks for the mouse point tip as well :-)

There's no way back to the spellbook if you go to another window without closing the window and clicking on a spell to reopen it.

for an idle game, there's not much actual idle progression... or maybe i haven't gotten far enough that he auto launches?

You are a glutton for punishment! I mean, porting over from mobile to browser using JS? Kudos! I'm noticing some HUGE discrepancies between the two, but it's way too early to list because you have your own to-do list that you're working through. A bit of hard truth for you, though, I take my phone with me everywhere, idling with this game on it is fun. Doing this in a browser, on the other hand, isn't so much. GL on the PC port, I'll be on my phone for the time being. :D
Haha, well, it hasn't been too hard - libGDX can compile to GWT and only a tad bit of JS is needed! There are still a number of things to do, but it is mostly complete at this point! I agree that the experience does feel much different from mobile - but that's ok! The audiences are different as well. Glad you love the mobile version, and thanks for trying it out here as well! Cheers! :-D

tool tips without having to open the "inventory" screen would be beneficial. 1 second longer to collect powerups would be nice as sometimes it is a pain to find where the mouse cursor is. When rune chests spawn, a slight map slow down would help for the same reason as above. hard to find mouse cursor quickly enough sometimes.
Hey there, thanks for the feedback! I'll see about increasing the duration Runes stay onsceen, that's a good idea. I'll need to ponder the Rune Cache idea, but I like the overall idea of making them easier to collect. Cheers! :)
Hey there! Picking up the Runes is totally optional! It's one of the main advantages of playing actively. You will also auto-collect all Runes dropped by Bosses and Chests. Cheers! :)
Hey, thanks for the comment! The system is confusing, I will readily admit, but there is a rhyme and reason to it. First it sorts the items by overall type, like this: Utility Rune, Misc. Items, Combat Runes. Then, it sorts by Quality within each group. Lastly, it's most confusing because the pack fills from the bottom up, and from right to left - which is opposite of how we normally read things! Once you get some more Runes, hopefully the pattern will start to make more sense. Thanks! :-]

i mean i know its really not a glitch, but if you can time it right on one of the summoning bosses, killing his minions and not killing him you can "not" progress and farm power like no tomorow i mean like really really farm... like go from 1m power to 900m in about 3 hours..... and the drops for 50%powe .. make it ..... insane. just a comment >.>

I had around 10m power at the time of my feedback, so I'm well versed in how the system selectively auto-collects and my feedback was written with that in mind. I appreciate that you replied, engaged devs are always the best. In regards to mouse-over/etc, frankly, no. If I am actively playing an idle game, the last thing I want to do is to be forced to click or move my mouse all over the screen for something that should, in my opinion, be automatic. For me that takes a good bit of fun out of the game; perhaps that's just me though. When I actively play, I typically don't pick up the runes and being able to mouse over them wouldn't change except for the rare rune I happen to swipe past while moving my mouse to something else.

The game doesn't seem to run at all if I'm in another tab (at least in Firefox) which I feel kinda defeats the whole point of the lantern and it being an "idle" game. Hardly idling if I need to leave the tab open and not use my computer or close the game completely.
Hey, thanks for the feedback! I'm aware of the issue, and a future update may resolve. As a workaround, I'm pretty sure the game will still run if it is in its own browser window. Also: it does currently run in background tabs in Chrome with no problem. Cheers! :)

The game literally runs faster in chrome, i put my same save side by side in microsoft edge and chrome, and it was going what seemed like twice the speed in chrome.

I would really enjoy being able to control which zone we start out in, being able to farm certain runes will add to the complexity of which area is best to grind
Hey thanks for the feedback! I agree, that might add to the complexity. However, it might reduce some of the decision making, in that you'd always know, "Ok, go to Zone 1 to farm to health farmes, zone 10 to farm power runes" and etc. At the moment, you can farm runes in a couple of ways: in Raids, if you like the Rune drops, keep recalling before beating the Boss; in Dungeons, where you can re-roll to get the Runes you want before hand. In addition, once you progress much farther in the game, you will unlock the Runic Alter which lets you create Runes from other Runes. Cheers!

we have a problem with the new update. The screen is just black/grey. No loading bars or anything. I have refreshed browser 3 times, and even restarted safari.

Like the game, but a few bugs: Many of the text prompts seem overly complicated for a simple thing(lantern tutorial), or use poor translations (example being "School" instead of "type"), the tutorials seem worse than the mouseovers for this... In the bag "sort by quality" is hard to get to and doesn't work. Stats scroll can be put in bag, but can't be taken out.
Hey, thanks for the feedback! The inventory sort button should be easier to get to in the latest version. To remove the Stats Scroll, drag it instead of clicking. My apologies some things like that are not more obvious!
Hey, thanks for the bug report! While I'm working on finding a permanent fix for this - it should resolve if you refresh the page a couple of times. Using a hard refresh with ctrl+F5 may help as well. Cheers!

The game progress is quite linear which is unexciting. I was sad that you didn't take my suggestion. You need to do something about enchanting. You stated most players enchant before bed... That may be a good idea, but if your actively playing, there's nothing I see that suggests I shouldn't reset ASAP. In fact, early game that's exactly the case. You force players into delaying by added time to the energy reclaim which isn't exciting and feels like you're getting punished for progressing. Take the feedback man, this feature needs some change...
Hey again! The reason you shouldn't necessarily Enchant ASAP, is that you can Enchant more than 1 level at a time. This is explained in an advanced tutorial that you may not have gotten to yet. So instead of Enchanting right away, you can grind out more Power and do multiple Levels in one go, to have the minimum Reclaiming time. Hopefully that makes sense! Many players have lauded the Enchant system as their favorite mechanic in the game. Cheers!
You tamato, I say tomato; I've discussed this with many people, and though I disagree I understand where you are coming from. At the end of the day, I just hope the game is fun to play! :-)

Got a bit of a bug here, I've got a rune stack limit of 8 but the game thinks I need more Frost Elemental Q1's in my inventory instead of putting them into the Pack. http://prntscr.com/e8y2f8

This game is great. However, the game is too big for the average browser. Maybe making it wider would help. 5/5 when released
Hey, thanks for the feedback! As you may guess, the game was originally designed for mobile, which is not ideal for browser. I'll look into making it a bit wider though. Cheers!

I really don't understand why items don't collect automatically. I almost view this as an entry level criteria in games I play on Kong; as do many others. Couldn't get past this annoyance long enough to enjoy the game, so for now I'm giving it a 2* rating since I can see some potential. Will check on the game later. Fingers crossed the devs actually care about their users.. and more importantly... our fingers!
Hey, thanks for the feedback! In fact, a lot items do auto-collect: namely, Runes from Bosses and from Chests. When you enchant, every boss respawns, so even collecting Runes like this adds up! That said, collecting extra Runes is one of the main benefits of playing actively. Also, if you were able to mouse-over runes to collect them instead of clicking, would that ease your pain?

I think I've noticed the same thing as jul - the game doesn't seem to run if I switch to another tab in my Firefox browser. If the game is in its own window it seems to work alright. I've seen similar behavior in other games made with WebGL so I assume it's a limitation of the platform.

I cant seem to import my save from one browser to another, i was using microsoft edge, but now i want it on chrome to see if it runs better, and im being told the save appears to be corrupt even though im able to continue it on microsoft edge.
Edit: thanks for this report! I've looked into the issue, and it is something going on between browsers. I plan to implement proper cloud saving later this week, which should get rid of this issue altogether. Apologies for the hassle!

I can't help that this game needs some sort of auto-loot. You should consider creating the auto-loot around looting a finite amount of on use runes or only looting auto-use runes. Something needs to help you can't even call this an idle game if so much of the functionality of the game is lost while idling. Also auto-recalling could be something in place after a lengthy grind or adding a 1 minute timer after death before doing it. Just throwing out ideas.

After you enchant your wand, I don't see a real point in playing for 30-120 minutes. The gains you get in the first 80-90% of the time spent after an Enchantment doesn't amount to really anything. I would rather Enchantment's bonus be higher without any automated return, a full soft reset per say, or a faster recharge if that's going to be the way, to where you must complete a raid or something before gaining your power back. I strongly suggest that you go with my second suggestion, giving the player who wants to be active something to do ACTIVELY to get their power back. Either way, I definitely want to see this addressed. Great game so far! I'll continue to leave suggestions.
Great feedback! Taking a break while Reclaiming from an Enchant is one of the big Idle aspects of the game. The good part is, you can schedule when to take this downtime! Many late-game players only Enchant once per day (before sleeping) for that very reason. Also, if you actively play while Reclaiming, it *will* reduce the time left for the Reclaim to finish. Cheers! Edit: also, you can do multiple Enchant Levels at once, instead of enchanting immediately!
Ok, thanks for the input! There is the import/export feature for now, but Cloud Save would be better, I agree!
Edit: working on cloud save this week! :-)
Hey there! Sorry about that! When you reloaded the game, your Runite was back though, I hope? If not, please let me know! I'm about to upload a version which saves the game after any shop purchase (I thought it did this already, but it does not). Currently, the best way to ensure a save is to simply Recall.
I agree, this limit is not the most logical thing in the world. The original thinking, was that it would encourage players to use a diversity of Runes. There is a Research to increase the max stack size, and it increases each NG+ as well. Overhauling the research and limits is on my todo list! :-)

I really like the game and I can't wait to see where it goes. However, I feel that the Lantern of Recovery may need a little more attention. I really like the idea that you get 60% of what you would normally get, so that you slowly get more and more each recall. It totally makes sense in terms of idle gameplay. It does however just get really, really slow in power gain, which may not be a problem but I've watched it for a while and I've had a few moments where I'd die a zone or two earlier than I normally would. This ends up sort of "resetting" the potential power gain. Maybe after every 10 or 15 recalls 20% of the potential power is added to your regular power? (Sorry if this isn't feasible, I just didn't want to not offer any suggestion!) But I really do like the game! I just feel that the idle aspect of it could be greater!
Thanks for the great feedback! The Idler's Kit in the shop ups the Lantern retention to 75%. If you do the math on it, this doubles the effectiveness of the Lantern. This is the first thing most players save up for. That aside, you have a great point about potentially losing more than you gain. Periodically gaining some of your collected Power is feasible, but what I want to avoid is the ability to idle for a week, then come back and have skipped many zones. Instead, after idling for a week, you'll find that the spells in your loadout have ranked up, increasing their damage, giving you new options, and allowing you to get back the pain-point you were at without as much trouble. If you only log in once a day for the critical raid and to rank up spells, and do that for a few months, the game will become far, far easier due to the massive levels of your spells. I'll love to discuss more - feel free to post on the reddit about this!

"Select Mage" + 6 pictures.. How am I supposed to decide without any information? Guess you might as well make the mage selection random instead.
Hey, thanks for the input! Permanent auto-recall just isn't something that's in my vision for the game - but you can get temporary auto-recall Runes, as well as the Lantern. Auto-item collect is something that has been thrown around before - some Runes will already automatically be collected without your attention. This includes Runes from Chests and from Bosses. Since every time you enchant all Bosses respawn, that adds up to a lot of Runes even if you aren't paying attention! I appreciate the thoughts, and I'll try to be improving the game! :-]

Character looks odd running from place to place without moving. Try some movement animations or perhaps a floating animation. If all else fails, at least draw a shadow to makes it look like they're levitating.
Hey, thanks for the feedback! For sure, I'm planning to add mouse-over for items in your Inventory. Then if the game does well, I'll likely add some more mouse-overs on other screens as well. Cheers! :-)
