Its a fun game, but getting various weapons is discouraged. Having close or mid-ranged weapons doesn't give you any advantage, so just go for long range and you'll be maxed out by the 2nd boss.

the story isn´t that good. It stopped in the middle of the game at the supermarket. Please tell a whole chapter of the story.

I like the game overall, but i don't like having to pick different guns all the time. Why not let us keep a favorite and then the mobs drop ammo instead?
Hey, thanks for the input, it certainly could have been a valid alternative! I was just obsessed with the dropping guns idea at the beginning of project, so that you have to adapt quickly to whatever is available at your disposal. Well, it is open to discussion if I was able to include that aspect or not... :) Thanks!

Closerange weapons are good! Especially the flamethrower is awesome. But you should only buy any weapon if you can afford all upgrade at once. I maxed out all close range +the extras before I went on to the other guns. Works good.

Great game - I like that the upgrades are more of an expression of playstyle than "I need to get better stuff". The short range guns need a bit of buffing though in order to be viable... say double ammo. Also maybe nerf armor a bit. But other than that, great fun game, great cutscenes (too few of them towards the end :D). Good luck on a sequel!
Hey thanks for the comment! Yes, that's exactly what I was thinking actually. I was planning to include more guns/stats to upgrade at the beginning but later on I realized I won't be able to draw that much stuff and finish it in a reasonable time. So I tried to make every gun usable enough at their max.ed levels, and have them as different expressions. Agreed with you on stuff that needs to be nerfed/buffed, too. Thanks for the input and nice words!

All of the long range weapons are useful and fun, but if you take the blade thrower you'll be really disappointed that it keeps dropping on the last boss. It is nice to line up waves of trash behind you and use one blade thrower round to kill them all.

I think the short range weapon upgrades should replace your basic boxing glove, since as it stands right now getting them just makes you get the good weapons less.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Never buy the short range weapons. Ever. If you accidentally pick them up they will get you killed. If you don't buy them they never drop, problem solved.

i think there's an issue with the double damage powerup, considering regardless of whether i have it or not, it still takes the same amount of hits to kill anything >.>
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Because enemies only drop the guns you've bought, you should never buy bad guns. Don't buy any close-range weapons, the grenade launcher and the blade thrower.

It would be nice if it stopped with the whole "You clicked out of the screen!" when you're clicking in the middle... >_>

About an hour of decent play to get to the end. Fairly easy to max out upgrades (I was done after level 11, no dying).

It was a fun game. Played it through in one sitting. About an hour. I have to admit it was a bit easy IMO. Never died once through the game, and ended up collecting all guns and power ups 3 stages before the final.
It would be nice to see a little tweaking of either the gold (meaning getting less) or making the enemies a little stronger. Either way. I enjoyed it. Thanks.

The game is pretty run of the mill, but has some good enemy design. Unfortunately, it's dragged down by the ridiculously large amount of health you have, making it virtually impossible to die. The game is just waaaay too easy.

is there a way to get a harder mode? it got way too easy so quick, and in the end I had 50 stars I couldn't even spend, and I always avoided the dice cause the game was too easy as it was... In the end I would just spin circles and purposefully hold down fire and pick up ANY gun that dropped for variety, seems like you could make a mode like that

Completed, 0 deaths, 76 points to spare and i'm far from great at these games. Not bad, just... i dunno. Needs a little more oomph. I liked the recoil effects to the weapons, especially the punching glove. Some interesting creature design, even if they were just meat pinatas. Fairly good humor and very smooth gameplay, however.

Gosh, this sure is Madville, you fight thin ugly guys, winged ugly guys, thin guys with purple masks, floating depressed faces, many more. You can shoot boxing gloves, mines, tesla and even ducks. You can become invisible, you can turn into a fist, you can turn into a blue hungry guy while things become small, and more. 5/5 for the weirdness!

Solid gameplay, but very easy. Cant see why I'd bother upgrading the first column of weapons when there are so many gun drops and I'd rather not dilute the weapons that matter. Also, need more things to spend research points on (more relevant things). I'm about halfway through the 3rd chapter and have 26 spare research points (everything unlocked except for the first category because it kind of blows). No point in grabbing the dice either. Good game, fun, but question some of the implementations. 4/5.

Good art, and funny writing, but it needs some sort of system within the levels to give the player a sense of skill/progression. Something like a combo system, or achievements.

Fun, crazy, a piece of really well done game, temporary effects are great in that they can be both positive or negative and the backstory is a fine example that being batshit crazy is a hell of a ride. Moar please?

Awesome game, great gameplay. I don't play shooter games with permanent upgrade systems normally, but this one was so much fun, I'm really glad I did. The guns feel very powerful and effective. The cutscenes and the graphics are great. I have only minor complaints with it. Overall, very well polished and awesome game. Congrats!

not bad game, but after awhile boxing guns get irritating, it would be nice to have a feature that you can change the main gun ...
