By all means this is a strategy/defense game. I guess that putting it as a "RPG" is not even good for it. What about moving the Protector saga into the proper category?

indie88 is one of the names for the units, im guessing that thats the developer or his friends username for deviantart

love this game. i'm addicted to character progression & levelling soo.....
the only other comment I have is, comparing the shadowdancer& theif, the shadowdancer's bonus chance to loot is only 125%, versus the theif's 200% (despite the shadowdancer being the advanced unit) was this the intent?

I have finished 5 red storyline quest and 4 storyline quest for "Rangers Of Flitwind" and don't have any other storyline quests to choose. What should i do now?

Thumbs up if you think that in protector 5 (if there is one) you should be able to create your own hero to put into battle and level him up (like in protector 3) and give him additional damage or chance to crit etc when he levels up by putting in points. 5 per level maybe. thumbs down if you dont care and you think it's fine the way it is. (im just throwing the idea out there.)

Very fun game ^.^ I would suggest a feature to remove or move units after they are placed, gets annoying when you need to upgrade but can't.

it's kinda annoying how you can lose an item you've gained from the expedition if you don't claim it before starting a new one =(

At the beginning, the game was kinda hard, but then I found my first Protectorate hero... used him for the rest of the game (about 90% of it, really), because of their ranged units' superior range (range 3 for the non-elite unit helped ALOT), decent speed and power (the ability to turn flyers into mince meat is a bonus)... all this combined allowed to use just this hero for all occasions, using elemental switch equipment when necessary... still, it's a good game...

Congratulations on making a game that takes as long to complete and master as any other game for sale these days... except... it's not for sale.
The depth and layers of the upgrading system took me most of the game to get my head around, but that's a good thing. Some things could be better here and there, yes, but EXCELLENT work regardless.

you can't sell units cuz there are maps that have enemies absorbing elements and what if you have all fire units and one (last/strongest) enemy absorb fire? You would sell them and buy other units.

I have been playing the protector series for a long time. I love this new one. Seems like the leveling up of all aspects of your game play could take a year.

I love how when someone has a question about the game, instead of answering it - people give it the - score. Very appropriate!

sometimes, it would be nice if you sould sell units. on some maps, you run out of space, and need to upgrade to advanced units, but can't sell the lower tier ones to do it.

Hello, I have never commented before but really feel the need to say this: please take the wisdom skill points out because I spend all my experience on wisdom (and I'm not sure there is a maximum value in this version) so my stats are really shit compared to what they could be. Even if there is an end it just seems like a dull necessity to do if you want to max everything in the shortest time possible.

I found a typo, it's very minor but it's really just a mix of words. It's in the tutorial thing on the page where at the top it says, "The sun sets outside the inn" in the 3rd paragraph first line it
says will help in you many ways, instead of help you in many ways, Thumbs up so the developer can fix it.

A little confused: I have 30 points in magic. 2% per point = 60% increase in power so I should have 160% attack damage with my mages. But my attack damage amount hasn't changed all game. Am I missing something? Thanks all!

Haha, comment deleted again. Don't worry, I don't give a shit. The only thing that matters is that people read it and agreed with me, which I didn't expect, but whatever.

sometimes during a mission a random square blacks out and you can't see what's on it (though you can still interact with whatever's there, be it a unit or an unpaved square)
