The documentation says that there is no option to buy back a unit because we should plan ahead and if we have the right strategy there should be no need to buy back a unit. If we do not know what is coming up, how can we possibly plan ahead??

34 waves in with "Press space to cancel placement" stuck. I press space, nothing happens. I have no empty place to put the character. Just lost 20 minutes.

...It's just idiotic to say this had a wave preview, it has always been that only protector 2, 3, 4, and 4.5 had preview bars, defender and protector never had them.

@ Illucoran. Sorry if I misunderstand your comment but your saying u r disappointed undefined remove the wave preview mechanic? Was it once part of this game? or are u suggesting it was in early games because there is only one earlier game than protector 1 and that's defender which also has no wave preview. You can suggest this game needs a wave preview but saying he shouldn't have removed it since he has ADDED it to future games. its like suggesting final fantasy 1 should have been 3d cos the later ones are........

I used to like Protector in the past. I never got round to playing later titles until the Planeswalker Badge Quest, which needed a Protector IV badge. I liked Protector IV but didn't want to spoil much of the story and decided to come play the other ones first.
I was actually disappointed to see the wave preview removed when I came here, it's a very key thing to this game, you removed all our chances on placing a strategical, fit defence. We just have to guess and place units at random now. Nicely done! Also, an addition of a speed button isn't mandatory, but would be comfortable. They are a small upgrade plus the reversal of a big downgrade, to make this game as good as the rest...

wish there was an option to automatically go to next wave because many people(myself included) go do something else while the waves come and don't want to come back to send the next wave. + if you agree. hopefully if this gets enough pluses undefined will update. oh also 2X 3X and 5X speed.

2G per enemy? If it costs me 85G to level up one man three times, and if the HP of the enemies increase every wave, AND if i only get 1 spendable point for beating a level, GIVE ME MORE GOLD AS THE MONSTERS GET HARDER!!

After 4 years I finally got had badge....4 YEARS. Over all it was an amazing game. I loved the simple skill trees, non-linear quest set up, and overall feel of this game. I was a little disappointed at the lack of an ending, but never once felt a level was too long. Many would argue otherwise which is why a X2 button may be necessary. My complaint is that I felt with a little thought and slight strategy I easily won. I never actually lost, or even lost half of my lives. the game should have been more about skill and strategy in the later levels, rather then patience as you go through 40 waves over the course of 2 hours. Not bad, but could have been better. 4/5 and added to favorites.

I used an external program to speed up the game 3x, and it still took me over a half hour to beat the third level of the game. Goddamn.

A lot better than the other protector game, if u whine about it being too slow.. where is your rush, obbviously u dont have so much to do anyways when u can sit here and play all day, just like me, i aint doing shit..

Slowest game ever. It surprises me it has such a high rating, the game itself isn't all that great...
Worth taking into account, however, that the game was made over 3 years ago.
