@feudalismrocks - I thought I was the only weird one to do that. It only took 128 turns to put all 99/99 on every accessible hex (except purples' capitol)

Greenland is the most difficult country to win with because you play as last and no one will accept your pact unless you outmaneuver Blue in cities and ports. If you can rush Blue within 5 turns then you're a genius. Otherwise, it's all about knowing when to Speech at the right time. Speech is very important for Green because that's when you REALLY start attacking. I've won several times using Green but more often than not I usually lose.

@jzagre
I've noticed that when I play as red, and only red will the other 3 color accept a pact, even if I offer it on the first turn. For the other 3 it seems to be a combination of how close we are to each other, how much we've fought and how badly the other person is losing or vice versa.
Those are just my observations though.

has anyone ever put a 99/99 (men/moral) on EVERY existing square except that occupied by the last free capital? (other than me. I was very bored.) ;)

beat map 23267 on hard.
near the end i had like 20 99 units and half of them had 99 morale too. it took a long time though

Tried 239702 on hard as green. Took 26 turns. AI never seems to guard capitols. Bumrushed Blue took capitol quickly (used give speech to jack up my morale) while they tried to expand. While I fought small battles on the small island with the allied Violet and Red, I concentrated on consolidating two 99 units in the north to attack red capitol. Initial attack failed, but I had already been moving 3 more 99 units west. Took red and defended my capitol while I moved units south towards violet. None of the countries really tried to stem my attack until I was within a few hexes of their capitol.

cellobuddy yeah easy is creditable, but OgaTastsumi what difficulty? I played on medium which in retrospect would have been harder than hard since red becomes an empire.

"You conquered all of Map Nr 239702 in 92 turns...wow. And I tried. Anyone wanna beat my insanely awsome turn score? Bet you can't beat it. (Green)"
nice one
i did it in 29 turns
with aggresive strategy
first you conqure blue then red and so on
no pact :)

@fatcatattack 25 turns easy. Just keep your little island, take over blue's capital and then work towards red's capital while all of their forces are busy getting back from taking over violet. Then violet's one 99/99 is a nice piece of cake to polish off.

@ the mini-tutorial comment above, when combining armies, the moral of the two armies averages out. which can be very devastating, when you combine two maxed-out moral armies, and one starts at 90 moral+90 troops, the other starts at, oh say 3 moral, 3 troops... it gives you 93 troops, but barely more than 45 moral. :/

AHHHH anyone find a great map but forget to save the number? I just found a map with an uncanny resemblance to WW2 European Theater but forgot to save...

amazing, I've wanted this game on kongregate for a very long time, glad to have it here, finally! :) anyway, has anyone else ever erased the # for the map, then clicked go? it comes up to a black green background, with the four capitals, which are all named undefined. this happens to be a very fun map, for some reason, although, I do admit it get's almost impossible as difficulty goes up. :/

this game is awesome, but what it really needs is a way to take like half the troops in a stack, so one could more easily spread out heir troops

To mute: click the icon on the right side (looks a bit like the electro symbol for speaker), it's right above the icon that looks like a Q. One can only mute after starting a game but it stays muted unless one reloads the page.

The music combined with the sound effects and art style (birds chirping while guns fire and the map is bombed to pieces) is one of the scariest things in online gaming. Of course this isn't supposed to be a scary game, which means the developer is given leway to put in some painfully sarcastic comments. Wow.

Does anyone ask for a continental mainland map with small islands hosting capitals but with placement of ports, lakes, and landbridges movement to the nearist town is delayed giving great defensive capabilities? No? Well no one cares about you. 512118

Did someone want a X-shaped map where all armies clash in the center in an awsome battle usually resulting in blue's death so the fight for his capital is key to winning? No? Well here's the map anyways. 616507

42709 in 44 turns. Purple, hard. Ally with Red, and turtle, position a strike force to snap red after they take blue. Best of luck with Green.

Is the game lagging severely for anyone else? It used to run real smooth, but now its all jumpy. Any advice would be appreciated.
