One thing bad about the playstyle is you have to decide all moves for all 4 members in team and then when the action start, you have to memorised all the attack type so you can react asap, would be better if given a pause and a hint of what's next move in action phase

Its an interesting idea. although i would recommend to give the miss mechanic a bit of tlc , its a bit annoying if you do a perfect mini game and then the attack still misses.

Awww... so short!! Those friggin bats can HIT!! xD I loved it, and my love for fast puzzles/minigames was satisfied! Great job! would love to get some weapon or armor to equip though.

I think that this game deserves a sequel, with a bit of tweaking it could be a hit. If you added more content to it as well.

Pro tip: don't save up your items. The game isn't that long. It's a hallway of a handful of fights and a boss. Refresh stamina of the healer and heal the weakest character in the battles every turn if they have about half HP.

As with all VasantJ games, hold W to speed through all the text. Game is pretty simple and when skipping text, takes a half hour tops.
As for the game, the enemies have way too much health.

@Balbanes I have a potato PC and didn't find any issues during gameplay. Maybe it's a specific browser thing. I'm running on Chrome.

Maybe it's because I have a $1,000 gaming machine, but I don't get nearly all of these errors or blank screens that seem to happen to some people. It obviously happens because enough people talk about it, but enough of us can play such games fine. I wonder what the specific issue is...

Well, the main good point of this game is: it is short. And I hope it could be shorter. It is like a round-based RPG, but its combat is annoying. Player has to put one hand controlling "z" and "x", and one hand preparing arrow keys. It is why players would love it a shorter game. Alas!

wow, when you think Vasant creations couldn't be any shittier, he adds another layer of crap... this guy has real ,,talent" to make people suffer in different ways, not just with idiotic writing.

I liked this much better than the Medieval Cop games. I'm not a fan of turn-based, but the minigames kept me engaged.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I like the concept of the game, but too many minigames. In Final Fantasy games, only overdrive moves need minigames mostly. Having to do 4 per round and not finish the enemy with each is unsatisfying and slows things down. This length is fine, but more combat would get to be unbearable quickly.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Oh, well much shorter than expected. If anyone else was dreading this, it really doesn't take very long at all. More like a demo if anything, a message from the developer at the end says as much himself.

probably the most tedious rpg maker game i have ever played, the battle minigames feel poorly implemented and you can honestly get pretty far just using normal attacks, multi-hit retributions when you have access to them, and healing when you need it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Don't be intimidated by the medium badge, you just have to do the tutorial (maybe 10 min), then its only one single mission, I think it was 4 minion fights and the boss fight and that's it. Really easy as long as you use Retribution every time its up and use First Aid any time you take more than 150 damage.
Takes maybe 45 min total, actually really easy and fast for a Medium badge. Certainly better than those idlecrap 'medium' badges that take hours.

This game doesn't need a mouse, dunno what this guy down there is rambling about... Took 40m at a pretty leisurely pace. Not difficult at all, just heal when you've taken 250+ damage, use the retribution as soon as you can on the MC/bats. You have more than enough items to complete the game, too.

Took me 34 minutes to complete the game and get the badge, including reading the plot. The game is completely linear with no choices, so feel free just to smash through.

Why don't wasds work and why we gotta get so far in before we can save? Arrow keys with mouse buttons? Come on. And my computer decided to close everything before I got to a point where I could even open the damn menu and I'm starting all over now. Bad enough a botd for a full game like this on the first day of the week, but the quality and functionality has really gone down hill.

Something that would be nice for BotD is having some dedicated players give their own evaluations on "yes" or "no" for whether any Medium Badge of the day type achievements would be fine for BotD. This would let them know which ones to not put as BotD. An "average time" in minutes for each on the BotD page for Kongpanions would be a nice addition too. It would also help if this kind of thing could determine placement in the days of the week: slightly longer Medium badges would be at the 2nd half of the week.

I was always one who loved the whole Medieval Cop series. Like the Trader of Stories series though, while the game isn't so hard as to be more than a Medium badge, the time it takes is great for the game but not badge of the day.

Enemies were a bit too spongy for my taste and all the different attack minigames were a bit too much. Less is more! Also both machine gun and the claws skill are way too strong.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
"Sorry boss I can't go to work, I have a medium BOTD to do". Kong staff seems to ignore that there are things called "the real life", "job", or "studying". The game is not bad per se but I don't really like RNG-dependant games. But having to pass through the whole thing in a reduced amount of time ruins the fun of getting BOTDs. Better keep medium badges for the end of the day, believe me, it would be better for all of us.

Quite a let down after the Medieval Cop series - too much combat, not enough story, and the combat is overly clunky and dragged out - still, better than anything I could program so I'll still give it five stars ;-)

Let's turn the sound down! Oh, you can't at the start of the game when you've realised it's too loud, so reload. And if you can go down the sound menu, none of the usual keys let me do it, so I ended up muting the tab.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
after I select attack/skill the game freezes but the animation seems to still run... hitting those zones is pain because of this...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I've been going through VasantJ's entire catalog. While I don't vibe with visual novels in general, the Medieval series at least feel pretty fair for the most part. But oh boy, this game should be called RNG: the RPG. If you ever get the misfortune of an enemy using the machine gun attack, just reload.
