I don't mind the build/upgrade system concept, but there are a couple things I don't enjoy.
1: There's so much going on, it's usually a sacrifice to your building to upgrade critical structures. (Or I'm really bad at this game)
2: The click and drag function should be intuitive enough that I don't have to strictly follow the elevator to move my turret

Got to say I disagree with a lot of the comments about the upgrading/switching system. Isn't the point that the tower is entirely mechanical, so stuff has to physically move around to work? It's more effort, but juggling all these various aspects is what differentiates the game.

Why don't game makers provide a big, obvious link to the rules? I don't know why each time I start, I'm back at the beginning (I mean, is it a bug?). That isn't the only thing that is unclear, and I don't want the answer posted here. I want a link to full documentation. How is it worth making a game and then not documenting it fully?

Indeed, it is a long, long way to Tipperary. I can only imagine, how the troops felt listening to that back in the day :D

Love this game, nice and refreshing adaptation of the boring old tower defence game. Especially love challenge level 7, takes advantage of this unique mechanic!

nice and addictive game, but I have an advice... Such game mechanics render machineguns totally useless. I've won all the levels and all the challenges without using them at all, except when they were gifted in the beginning. The reasons are 2: the first is, cannons cannot focus fire, so there's no warranty they're not gonna start shooting some heavily armored foe (and this makes heavyguns work better just 100% the times). Second, they manage to get some use just when you unlock the 2nd upgrade (which adds up high fire chance): but machineguns' firing range is the shorter available, so it's rather hard to upgrade them in time since they get little exp.
They can miss air targets while teslas won't; they can't do much against armored foes, while saws and heavyguns will smash them down; they do decently against a swarm of soldiers, which anyway will be taken away by a heavygun better and faster.

Way too easy.. I am on Level 8 using only lightning towers so far. Not doing much. just ugrading them when I have cash. Presentation great doh

Little tip: if your gun is ready for upgrading, but is soon to need a reload, wait for its ammo to deplete then upgrade it, no reloading needed.

Game is fun, yet the badges are easy,
Hint for players that are stuck, Use saw only towers, if the tower is full, upgrade some saws, and redo, gets quite reperatative, forlevel 14-15 you need to really use your eye :) you dont need it before that point using only saws ( Excluded the challenge levels). So use your skill points in tower upgrades (till 4/5 upgrades) then go to saw
Enjoy!

Awesome game
Only "problem" is that, if you slide the turret in the tower while clicking outside the turret (ie off the elevator part) it gets a bit stuck
Not a real problem cuz it feels the tower jammed, giving it a bit of flavor
Let it be :)

is there something I'm missing? The difficulty seams to spike like crazy at level 4. Does it have something to do with my slow computer? Like the spawn syncing is thrown off? And, nothing ever fires at the planes until they've passed by the tower with how slowly the guns turn angle. There seems no why to avoid being pumbled... What's up? Also, using the eye sometimes makes me unable to click/drag anymore. I'm not on chrome. I'm sure I'm running latest version of the game.
It must be my junk PC, right? Even without sending waves early, I have huge crowds ganging up on me.

The game is really fun so far, and ever since the original fallout i've loved this steam punk and 40's music combination. i was falling asleep, decided to try this game, and the music woke me right up. my only complaint is that it must sap a lot of power. Upgrading guns and firing the eye of sauron is a trial of frustration with the lag i experience. i know that not everyone will have that issue, but you shouldn't need a gaming rig to play flash games.

Just finished the game. The easiest way to get through it is Lightning and Saws. 2 Saws and 3 Lightning of each side is the best configuration I've found. You can also use 3 Lightning, 1 saw and 1 Heavygun; Heavyguns can deal some serious damage once upgraded. For the most part though Saw/Lightning.

It'd be great to know how many kills I have with each type of "damage" (crit, blast wave, chain lightening). The Medium badge is getting a bit tedious to get considering I have no idea how many kills with critical hits I have.

Why would you cut out a fast forward feature because some people couldn't use it? It was fully functioning and you didn't include something that was COMPLETELY OPTIONAL because half of the audience couldn't use it. Thanks, friend, your decision isn't wasting my time or anything.

RE @ notbeblank: "blast waves" refers to the splash damage dealt by cannons against enemies not directly hit by the shell. hope that helps anyone else that might not immediately get that.
