That, my former sir, was awe inspiring. The music, the timing, the use of shading, every bit was beautiful. Congratulations for choosing to fly instead of to fall.

Beautiful game. The visual style was amazing, I love pixelated games, and the black and white theme was enthralling. It's a very atmospheric game, and after reading a few comments on what you made it about, it's just as meaningful as I took it. It's a relatable game. well done, very unique, left a deep impression on me :) I hope you make many more games.5/5

ok i guess i have to be the one to say this and try a put it as gently as i can. i have no issues with your life what so ever but were here to talk about the game. while it was playable it has to recieve a one star rating and the reason are as follows while one or some of these alone may have made for a great game combineing all of them made it teriable(yes i know i can't spell). 1. black and white color. 2. pixellated 3. no sound effects 4. music while ok(and i am into almost all types of music) far from great and #5 the biggest one of all GAMES SHOULD NOT DEPRESS YOU! games are for fun, learning, thinking, enjoyment and so much more but they should never depress you!... i may be the only one with this opinion but someone had to say it...it seemed to many people were giving you high ranks just because of your personal life story(while interesting and if i were into blog reading i might look up the story if one existed) and not raiting the game itself
Yes, it does. In some way or another everything in this game somewhat resembles me.
And of course you can be my friend. :) I like everyone who likes my games an is a nice person.

*sees Ororor's comment + response* That's what i thought this was about...it's good to see things have (or are) getting better. Just remember, no one defines who you are, that's your job..no one elses.
They may not like it, they may even fear it or worse..but as the saying goes: "Being who you are will always be more fulfilling than being something you're not."
...i dont think anyone actually said that, aside from me. :)
Thank you for the nice comment. :)
And you are right with everything. I think the decision to finally stop pretending and start being truthful about myself was the best I ever made in my entire life.
Life is so much more enjoyable if you are being yourself.

I really liked it. The dialogue of the people you meet along the way is very dark and atmospheric, and I like the whimsicalness of the mirror and the flying. Only by scrolling through the comments did I see that you were trans. The game was universal enough that I didn't see it as being specifically "about" gender, so props for that.
Only complaint I have is that the ending was way too long. After the player leaves the moon, I think jumping right to the woman on Earth would have really kept the game more tight and affecting.
Anyway, faved.
That's really hard to explain in a short comment.
But in essence the game is about my experiences and life in the past 12 months. That I am transgender and was not able to deal with that/was so afraid of being myself to a point where I tried to kill myself. But it is also about how much my life has changed since I started transitioning and how happy I am today.

ok...
The music is AMAZING.
Seriously, It reminded me of really good art games like journey and portal...
The game itself was preety good, but the music was just astounding.
You should check out the other stuff by "Another Moon" ( http://anothermoon.bandcamp.com/ ).
It is really great and I am very happy that Sébastien allowed me to use his music in my game!

I was playing this on my laptop. Only reason why I didn't keep playing was because the mute button does not work. I think because it's not a Num Pad, but I hate having to listen to the music. (It won't let me decrease it either.)

I think we all have a second self on the moon. This man had a woman, who knows what others have. I'm pretty sure earth could make a good place for it if we let it... ;)

dude, rhill, my computer is old and probabably ful of trojan horses and it ran fine, fantastic game, even though im not good at interpreting them, im sure there was some deep fantastic wisdom within this game :)

THIS IS AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL. I really hope this is going in the Basement Collection. It is one of the best flash games ever... :D
The Basement Collection? Well, that would be amazing but since it's a collection of Edmund's games I don't think that this would be possible. But it is a real honor for me that you say that, thank you.

When a game give you a sinking feeling twice... imagining a crushing despair of a character you've never even met... it has done well.

For a flash game to overheat my browser when I can play Skrim smoothly is just... wow. Still pretty good little "game". I have to dock you a star for the programming issues, though, and another for the complete lack of interactivity. Can't wait to see your next venture!

(GLITCH) I couldn't collect the thing on the satellite, so I couldn't complete the game. What I was able to see, I liked.

Looks more like interactive poetry than a game to me. I really liked the overall look and feel - the pixellisation, the old film feeling, the adequate soundtrack, the narrative. However there a few quirks, implementation wise. The most critical one is performance related: my hardware is pretty old and even at low quality settings, i found the game really laggy. Ergonomics wise i wonder if it is necessary to force the user to hold the space key while flying to show the navigation map; an alternative would have been to enable/disable the map on space keystroke. Anyway like i said, despite that, i really liked it.
Yes, I know that it is pretty performance straining. I'm very sorry about that, I tried optimizing it as best as I could but I'm not very good at programming. It might help if you close some background programs/other flash apps. But thank you for your comment, I'm glad you still liked it.

Fast, action oriented, without any story - this "game" is nothing of this. A great storyline which is told in a very unique way giving a little glimpse of what problems a person just like us could have to deal with. Very good game design with a lot of interpretation for the "player". I can only recommend to play (or better live and beliebe) the game and share the thoughts you had while playing. It's gives new fresh air to the vast amount of action oriented games out there.
