The ships on the left are WAY too costly, the only one of them that are useful is the clipper, just beat the game left ships only, that's all they are useful for

not a very creative effort, the story is uncompelling tothe point where I don't even find out what happens when I beat the dutchman and am dumped on the main menu. also the combat stats are never explained and I played "aim for hull" the whole game

if you want to get maximum money buy up a cheap good (at least 500) and sail around for a few days. when you return to port the price will be really expensive. then sail around a few days again and when you get back the price is cheap again. keep doing this with rum silver and gunpowder and youll be a millionaire very quickly.

The game thinks that max upgraded trade-focused Clippers are weaker than some mid-level combat-focused ships and lets you go first. I guess the game has a point; the other fleet is always more suited to being a submarine and always dives on the first turn. ;)

If you change the aim middle enemy turn your next turn will simply become denied and you will be force to skip it taking extra shots

@Ibudai i'd recommend actually playing the game before talking trash about it. you can buy up to 3 ships and enemies can have up to 3 ships, not 4.

Wait because the ghost ship needs to sacrifice 1 natural red-head a year and if you wait over a year what will happen, will you lose the game?

But in the first battle, I fought the ship with 100,000,000 HP and all my cannon shots missed and I lost. 1/5. That's not fair.

2 tricks: 1. If you loose 2 ships sell 1 wreck. You will get enough coins to repair 2nd AND buy stuff to collect for new one to replace sold wreck much faster
2. After rebuying replacement or if you buy 2nd/3rd ship, if you have all upgrades unlocked buy only maximum ones. Same effect, smaller cost (better upgrade seems to be just replacement for worser so buying +20 hull and +35 hull will result in +35 hull not 55).

I wish there had been a way to heal or buff, then a Cannonball only run of the Flying Ducthman would be feasible, as would potentially the left tree. In so far as I am aware, the Ship of the Line is needed to win along with a significant amount of everything but Cargo upgrades in effect.

Hint for confused players: Crew are for boarding, and you can take a ship down by killing their crew as well. The Flying Dutchman does not have crew.

It's a nice game tbh. maybe an online feature and a wider map would be super awesome ! you can also add like flag skins , a super rare boat when you finish the game. +if You Agree me Guys !

Makes no sense. Very little explanation as to what's happening, and why. You basically just sit there and watch yourself lose, with no way to adjust.

Do you know WHY i like this game? This is a game that i honestly grew up on, it makes me happy that there's a 2nd game out :)

how about maybe don't make it so that when a ship is destroyed, it still highlights it, but you cant do anything. I just had my entire fleet get destroyed because i gave the pirates so many free turns

I love the trading aspect in this game, really well executed. You can get rich so fast just by trading between two towns.

Tip for begginers: You don't need to destroy enemy ship. If he have 3 good ships just bring ships AP below 15 (it won't attakc you than) and move to next target.

I won by just mindlessly wandering around using quick shots I'd siege another town after I got all 3 ships upgraded to the next ship up I followed the upgrade tree on the right side and each ship up seemed to be an upgrade except for the 2nd to last one once I got all 3 ships fully upgraded and stats upgraded "except cargo" I fought the pirate ship and for the first time ever didn't use quick shots I just switched to dynamite and spammed it and won.
