I wish that instead of having only 3 lives, there was a penalty for death, or just you don't get the treasure you had from that dive

A lot of people complain about the lives... you do realize that there is an island where you can save (and load), right?

Having lives made the game BETTER. I lost once about halfway through, and I lost again with only 3 treasures left. Having the possibility to actually lose makes the game more exciting because, well, you can actually LOSE. If you want a stupid game where you can't possibly lose, you might as well go to Staples and buy an 'Easy' button.

I think that the limited life system is actually one of the best parts of this game. It keeps players from just doing dumb shit, and makes them actually makes intelligent decisions in what they buy.

I like this one, limited lives and all. Sure it may discourage some, but it encourages others to play wisely (and not rush into sharks.) Make sure you have the second upgrades for plating, oxygen, and battery before you buy the large propeller.

I accidentally bought the large propeller first and then I permanently switched to the slower one... F my treasure hunting life.

Aggreeing to others, this game would be damn great if you added some fixes.. like the s**t life system. Plus, you could add ancient arks to be found under the sea, for, let me see, 10k $-s.

when the sub broke ..... pay to repair it instead of losing a life if u dont have enough then thats game over , keep it up if u like it

Actually not infinite lives is a good thing, like in the old arcade games. You play it, you lose, and you don't feel like start another game soon after game over. You will come back another day. You can see the bad feeling of infinite lives in MAME (I know you can choose not infinite lives, but difficult knowing that you can have them). Games you were playing in the 80s and 90s last longer and the players knew every little part of the game. With infinite lives you pass through the game without master it. A year after you have play a infinite lives arcade game you hardly remember you have play it if you have finished the game in 1 or 2 hours.

Great game but the 3 lives constraint is indeed a pain, it's a shame it's such an old game the developer doesn't care about it anymore...

The ending is so not worth it!! I think there should be some sort of tell on the maps on which treasure chests you've already gotten.

Can't believe people are complaining about the life system. Without a life system, there would be no challenge at all as this game is rather short. What I would like is more levels, and a way to earn extra lives.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
if it were unlimited lives there would really be no challenge, but I do believe you should be able to at least BUY lives for a nice price

Nice game concept, but I hope I you'll get rid of the game over feature. =( It's so inconvenient. >_>; Also, it would be nice to have the maps show which treasure I found and which one I haven't yet. Overall, I like this game. =3 3/5
