This is a good first try, but this game has a lot of design flaws that could potentially be fixed. The control scheme is alright, I suppose, and the feel of the guns isn't terrible, but the level and enemy design needs tweaking something fierce. I give this a 3/5, shows potential, but not good enough.

It's a bit glitchy. I've been having the same problems with randomly dying as other people have mentioned. Great game otherwise!

There is a terrible glitch that seems to kill you when you jump. While it doesn't happen 100% of the time. it happens about half the time. It is either some sort of jumping related death, or there is some unseen obstacle that repeatedly kills me in the first level.

Here's a tip. For rapid fire, equip two pistols and space-down-space-down-repeat. It speeds the cooldown of pistol fire down significantly.

There are some really cool characters including fat guy that can kill zombies by jumping on them...;)

shield in level 3 - go to bottom of level, then you will encounter group of 3 zombies moving left - right . Above them there are the boxes that can be destroyed by shooting at them ( impossible to do with handgun for example, try shotgun or something that have big shooting radius ) . After boxes are destroyed, move up, and destroy boxes on the left. Under 1 of them there should be shield waiting for u !

I have not found it yet, and I've only unlocked the beard guy (Chuck Norris, lol!) and the boss at level 2 is quite hard.

Flamethrower can be picked up on start of 2-1. In world 1 there are only 3 weapons, pistol, shotgun, and shield ( which is hidden at secret place ). But total in the game there is around 12 weapons.
Tongue is not instant kill. When frog catches you, you need to jump from it, my suggestion is that you move in direction that tongue is dragging you, so you will be catapulted from frog...
As for sequel, I plan to make that player can aim in any direction. There will be no upgrades, though, like I said, its gonna be more like Resident Evil games, open world with puzzles etc.
And I am not sure why no one likes switching weapons, I was thinking that's kinda cool. There could be also ammo boxes, though.

Awesome game, but here are some suggestions: When you pick up a weapon have it give you more ammo. Have more variety of weapons earlier in the game, flamethrower anyone? Add an upgrade shop where we can buy more ammo, health, damage, etc. Make it able to shoot down while jumping, for a game like this it really helps.

LOL!!! for some reason any time i jump my HP% instantly goes to 0, anyone else having this problem or is it just me xD

@henry - this is not a spam game. It is actually really successfull, and earned a lot of money, no matter how funny that sounds to you...;)
As for a fix, in sequel I plan to make that player starts blinking red, and probably that blood starts draining from him. Something in that style... But I think that if I would make that player loses amount of health and then its invincible, it would be far worse then this because it would be unbalanced, and unfair.

Oh, and I am not designer of this game, just a programmer. I only added some stuff like new characters, unique abilities for each character, and fixed a lot of different stuff... Though, sadly, I guess lot of players will not even experience other characters...
Did anyone actually found shield weapon lol ? That one is my design...:)

I plan to make a sequel in Resident Evil style... It's gonna have open world, and player will need to save ammunition and health to survive the level... I also plan to make that there is more difficulties ( and maybe even more worlds ). Players will also be able to make their own worlds...:) Game is gonna be a lot different then this, only thing that will stay is the similar graphics...
I plan to work on it during this summer... Just keep giving suggestions, and if you would like to be 1 of testers, send me a message...!

Losing a percentage of health whenever you touch a enemy, is what id expect from a 1/5 spam game. At least add a attack animation.

for the fourth boss fight you should be able to see the whole room and get some better weapons and he shouldnt deal so much damage when he runs through you ... im left with pistols and can only get him into the 50-70 range cause he keeps runun into me

@JapanFour - that's problem with zoom and Flixel. No fix sorry... It depends on resolution of the PC... That's why I am not using zoom anymore.. And probably Flixel neither...

Horrible bossfights. And level design is crap, stop placing shotgun zombies outside of our view.
Easy fix for this game, make enemies deal 10 points of damage or something, and make it give you 2 seconds of invincibility.

Just to say something positive, I did play till second Shotgun on Firefox and no Bug happened so far^^
Difficult is wow for me, how fast one loses health, but still, it is was and with more training, I will probably do better^^
So far, I give it a 3/5, rating might go up in the Future. Specially like the Music, by the way~

On the first level by the ending door I jumped to the left, up onto the crate because I'd seen an open spot in the wall and was searching for a hidden path. The screen went black when I hit the left wall (or possibly clipped my head on the ceiling corner) and it said I'd died.

@xraven13 im randomly dying withing 20 seconds of the game, i never seem to die if i dont jump. im on firefox. its never a predictable spot, ususally within the first 3 jumps.

Please everyone use Google Chrome when playing this game, until I manage to fix this bug. It seems that problem is in framework I was using...:(
