Definitely in my top 20 favorites, top 10 if I count series as one place. Beautiful graphics, just enough story to give it life, challenging puzzles without requiring pixel-perfect jump timing, and even secrets to be found.

I'm amazed that this game still doesn't have badges. when I first played it, a few years ago, it wasn't all that surprising. But the fact that it still has none... is simply a disgrace to this work of art.

This game has a great visual style and interesting game play. Better than the majority of games Kongregate sponsors or is sponsored by.
I don't know why this hasn't gotten more recognition.

i'm not too clear on the alternate ending. does it mean the original angel thing was a poser, or did i actually kill the original and take its place?

I always push the yellow cubes into the slots all the way although it activates as soon as one corner has been pushed in. Is it OCD if I sometimes accidentally press the button again after the cubes have already been placed. Another thing is that I felt as if I just used the underworld for a non-serious reason like reaching a higher place.

Never had so much fun with suicide since SeppuKuties. And I especially appreciate you cannot get the yellow cube stuck on a wall. But repeating the game thrice was a bit tiresome.

@Andarion: How much of the game did you actually play? The upside-down effect is an integral part of the gameplay for about half the game.

I know it's supposed to be atmospheric, but to be honest, I would have liked the game a little more without the upside down effect of the other world. Not that it makes the game worse or something, just talking about my own taste. I don't know how the effect is exactly coded, but a button to turn it off would make me play it another time right away.

It was a very unusual game, seemed quite ethereal. Learning the significance to HP Lovecraft actually make it more enjoyable, and allowed me to see the surroundings and creatures in a new light. The Hidden Ending was creepy, yet well done.

Hmm, got a glitch where I hit the gold button, and the block reset on top of one of the purple monsters and it got pushed into the ground. The sprout on its head was still showing above ground and it could still fire, but the rest of its body was gone and it couldn't move.
