this game saves but only at certain intervals....bug? it always seems to load and say i haven't completed a bunch of levels

I don't know what level 34 was before per the other comments, but now it just solves itself. Also, some of the hints gray out when they've been met, but the eye + square does not.

Man, I absolutely love this game. Very creative and thanks for the level generator so I can play a few rounds when I'm on break

Can you make an option to flag a cell as "might be a bomb/likely safe"? On levels where there are a bunch of possibilities for the last bomb or two, it can really help to lay out what possible combinations there are. Laying down actual flags means that if you forget which cells you were deciding between, you have to re-follow the logic to find out which cells you were deciding between. Maybe shift-click to add grayed out "OK" or mine flags.

A bug in level 48? You check the 6-box mines, and I cannot get those 4-boxes around with a correct number of mines. Please check.

For starters, all of the edits have been great. I have one more suggestion. I totally understand that you don't want to the complex rules to gray out automatically, but can we maybe manually gray them out with a right click? If I'm certain that a rule has been satisfied, I would really like it to not be lit up.

Regarding the mode showing - yes it does on the level, but not in the selection menu. It should be highlighted there, how to set it is not apparent. Why not just always have right click be flag? Shouldn't impact touch input at all.

Ugh, finally after 24 hs i get it, in the menu click on either of the 3 flags to change your style of putting flags and clicking, from right clicking to hold clicking to mark first....You know a little explanation for this would have been good. Why is it even an option, right click flag like everybody does.

there's no direction in how to mark a flag? i tried left clicking/... right clicking....ugg. i'm outta here. 1 star....

@del1226046 - click the heart and read the tooltip in the bottom of the screen. It says "Like the eye, but only sees lonely mines. Lonely mines have no other mines in the 4 tiles around them."
Just start a game with only hearts poison, it may be solvable without using hearts hints. Then you can verify how the hint works.

One version of level 5 is wrong. There's a 1-box completely covering both boxes on a row that has a line-of-sight 2 count of 2, which would require them both to be full. http://imgur.com/a/ECeyy

It seems old auntie Minesweeper left her Fiat at home and arrived in a Ferrari instead. It's always nice to see a classic with a new twist, and this one is great. (An opportunity to grey out the combined clues by rightclicking/holding them down would be nice, though.) Lovely game!

@Aerow. It doesn't. The interplay of the adjacent-1, the omni-2 and the line-of-sight-5 below forces a single solution. The adjacent-1 and the omni-2 means that there must only be 1 bomb in the two blocks that both the omni-2 and the line-of-sight-5 can see, and that therefore the other 4 blocks that the line-of-sight-5 can see must contain bombs and thus we have our solution.

The freeplay mode (MInesweeper++) is deceptively challenging. Excellently done, and a welcome addition to my favorite timekiller. 5/5.

I really like how unique of a spinoff this game makes. I wasn't hooked at the start with the initial 3 basic clues, but once the [square + eye] clue appeared, I was excited to continue. The larger clue blocks were also an interesting idea, and although it took me a few levels to pay more attention and stop overlooking blocks in the line of sight, I really liked it. Every level did, in fact, require zero guesswork, and I liked how they all seemed to begin with one or two spots which were guaranteed to have or not have a bomb, and the rest sprouts from there. I also liked how the level rotates if you click on a bomb, making it harder to turn your failure into a hint (good if you don't want that extra hint). I'd love to see more levels, and even more hint types (Maybe even the "lonely mine" heart hint) integrated into the levels.

"there are 3 different control modes to choose from. The default is now 'hold to flag', but after level 1 it shows an option to change to 'right click flags', and the controls can always be changed from the bottom-menu. Some devices seem to be mixing up right and left clicks"
There needs to be an indicator of which mode you're in.

(Good) copy of minesweeper (including extra tiles), also nice use of multiple clicking techniques, ultimately this could be an actual option setting including keyboard presses and manual entry of those keys. I love the concept 4/5

Correction - Since the update that "greys out" used clues, seeing multiple problems:
On generated levels, right click ALWAYS registers as left, and I hit a bomb instead of placing a flag. Holding down the button still works.
On all levels, once a flag is placed, right click does nothing. Again, hold will clear the flag. This is on Chrome.

Level 5 seems to have a missing "1 mine visible". I have lost the level twice now exposing a mine that had no "visible" clue. When clues are placed or not seems really inconsistent.
