level 147 the square 4 below the right 3king can be either a bomb or empty, after solving the rest of the level, its a gamble (now you can place a mine flag there and see if the level says solved, but that's slightly cheating imo.

Boring game, with an idea that doesn't make sense. say what you like about the classic minesweeper - but it was logical and made SENSE. 1/5 stars.

For those who don't think this game has issue's here's a screenshot showing a complete grid with 4 numbers still highlighted as if something is wrong: https://i.ibb.co/31Q4wLT/bug.png

Really interesting idea to generalize the minesweeper, and the implementation is nice as well.
I felt that the developer smoked something funny around lvl 108, it's getting pretty nasty there.
Anyway, thanks for the game :)

After a few years coming back to it, it's really a chore to play sometimes. A few levels require you to figure out everything slowly using the flags and hints and honestly work to the game's detriment. Rather than saying it's a logic game, it should be more described as a pattern or trial and error game like the OG minesweeper. This is partly why I really disliked the game at first, there's not that much logic involved to some of the levels.

If I'm not mistaken, level 147 has a flaw that makes it TECHNICALLY not logically-solvable. Once you satisfy the 15 lightning bolt and the 4 eye clues, there is one square left over with no clues hinting at whether it is safe or a mine. It's a simple matter to flag it, see if the game ends or not, and if not unflag and dig it, but it would be better if a proper clue were added like with other such levels. A simple 1 or 2 clue of the four-directional kind, hidden in the square just before it, would solve the problem quickly and easily.

You want fun? Go to level 168 without doing any of the tutorials and just try and figure out what they all mean just by playing the level and slowly gaining more knowledge about the pieces. so much fun

Just finished lvl 123. Stick with it, it actually gets easier as the game progresses because you learn the patterns better. Great game.

The only thing this game needs is a tool to mark tiles, perhaps pressing a number key while mouse is over tile? If you want to keep it mouse only, you could also add a button/bar (if more then one type of marking) on the bottom. I know about the mark first control scheme, but it is annoying to switch controls, plus you would have to mark everything again when you decide on what a tile is. Ever without this, though, this is an amazing game, and I hope you continue to develop it!

Just finished all 168 levels. Great puzzle game, some of the mechanics were quite novel too for this type of game, shame that some only have a handful of levels with them.

Having so many mechanics is a bit inelegant but the puzzles were pretty good. Sometimes there were more clues than required to solve a puzzle.

A tip for the tricky levels: It can really help to take a screenshot of the level and take notes as you find out where the mines are.

Really great amount of Minesweeper variants. Finished all levels.
Dev, please check level 147, as it has 2 solutions (but the intended one is guessable).

I can't manually grey out clues. Compass clues shouldn't wait until they can't see any ?s; they should grey out when there are no ?s in any direction that doesn't already have a flag, because that's when they provide no more information.

Just as it starts to get boring, a new mechanic gets introduced and the gameplay completely changes! Best puzzle game I've played in a long while. 5/5

There's only one solution. You're missing something. The 1 that works in all eight directions prevents you from one of the two patterns. If you lay a mine next to the "diagonal 1", as you call it, and one between the two "horizontal" 1s, you would need the diagonal hint to be a 2 instead of a 1.

Level 39 has 2 solutions. The corner with the 1 "1" diagonal, 2 "1" side blocks, and the 1 "2" big row block. That corner can be solved with either a mine next to the diagonal and a mine between the 2 side blocks or a mine for each of the side blocks separately.
(9-13-19 Answer)
A mine for both side blocks.

For me it was pretty good until the addition of "double mine" blocks. That's just too much mental math, and it's so hard to easily distinguish at a glance (not that there's really a better way to display it, besides not having it at all). That just seemed to add only a tiny bit of extra logic but a whole lot more tedium.

if you have too much tiles flagged then the clu shows it is still grayed out and in the end you think why doesnt it complete it? oh wait 1 mine too much here shoudl nto be greyed out anymore if too mcuh flagged

Feels like that 6 with the lightning bolt on 142 is an error, since the clue can only see 5 mines with mine to mine contact: https://imgur.com/wpGVZNJ

There doesn't seem to be any way of checking which levels I already completed when selecting a level -- and the completed level tracker under achievements is definitely off...

I just hit a mine on level 10 that's next to 2 zero spaces. You'd think this mistake would have been caught a long time ago.

@Raptor000: I just did 79 without any guessing. once it felt like I had to guess (ended up with groups of two where one was the mine), I had the bottom right 3*3 like this:
xxx
?x?
???
(x= empty, ?=unknown, m=mine)
but noticed only four could be mines because of the bottom right eye, and because of the hearts (remember to count pairs of locations where lonely mines could be), it had to be:
mxm
xmm
that revealed an eye, which helped reveal other eyes.
entirely possible there's non-generated levels where you need to guess, I've been stuck enough to do so, but 79 is not one of them.

I like minesweeper but if i cant solve a level after 10 min staring at the screen trying to solve it. What am i missing? Am i just plain stupid? How can i increase my reasoning?
