Translation is terrible. I can't understand what's heart use in my language. Please keep this game in English on Kong.

Please give me an option to choose language. I have difficulty understanding the translated language but I can't change it back to English...

For those of you who are making no progress on the badge even though you're doing levels, click the "save my progress" button on the top right of the screen that appears just after you complete a level.

I am having the same issue of Kalel01260 however i can expand a bit. I did not start getting the lag issue (in chrome) until i followed the Kongregate instructions for enabling flash. Either way it seems like progress isn't being recorded by the Kongregate API.

So I clicked the number in the purple bubble to remind myself what it means, but all that does is fade the number itself.
Oh whoops, I haven't made a help-text for that yet. The purple bubble tells you the number of shared mines between those hints. The number of mines that are counted by both hints

Any chance to get solid walls randomized on the board in the minesweeper++ mode? Might make the "blue compass" clues more interesting

I came back on a whim to find that the game had updated without ever sending me a message saying it had. And this new update seems to have brought a few glitches with it. My progress was wiped once again, my settings reset. Even after clearing all the new puzzles, two of them lack the dot that marks them complete (120 and 123). And one of them the game skipped entirely, because after clearing level 122, it treated it like I had finished every level, and I had to pick 123 from the level select specifically. And lastly, after I had done that, the main menu screen image appears to have bugged out, as I now see hint icons scattered around the game's name, just those icons alone without any other visual like walls, tiles, or mines. And LAST lastly, I completed levels 111 through 123 without the need for any guesswork.
Hey there. So hopefully there isn't a problem with saving? You suspect that an update cleared your progress?
Also the glitch with 120 & 123 was just a graphics glitch on the level-select, it would have still saved your progress. I know the menu looks yuk at the moment too. And I usually like to wait for a big update before using the announcement (does that send out a message to recent players? I wasn't sure)

Thanks for a great game! First of two suggestions for minesweeper++: Total number of mines-nr of marked mines, could be a new clue type even as it adds extra difficulty not knowing. Second (re)suggestion: Allow for winning when all mines have been accurately marked regardless of if you have cleared everything. This allows for winning by trial and error if you are stuck with a 50/50 in the end.

Oops sorry I accidentally beat 124 levels I was playing ++ then another dot appeared in level select. Screen shot: http://imgur.com/a/n0EWN

Great game and a lot of the community levels are great too, seriously can't stop playing. On the community levels, my only suggestion here is that I wish the levels played would stay marked after each session and also indicate if it was solved. A scroll bar would also be nice to have. But overall it's great!!!

Bug starting on level 97: The hints that tell how many different groups it sees count a same group twice if it is seen in two different directions. So if you had one of those hints surrounded by 8 mines, it would see 4 groups despite that the 8 mines form one group.

@TakashiKurorai I think they're supposed to be "shared mines" clues, given the placement of the number in the square. My hypothesis is that, for whatever reason, it's mapping a clue to itself; it would explain why the clue graphic doesn't show and i have yet to find an example where the number didn't match that of an adjacent clue. Unfortunately for you, this would mean that those clues truly are meaningless.

Re: clues not fading automatically - it seems that this happens when 1. it's a blue box and the number end of it opened first, or 2. you manually toggled the fading of a clue in that spot of the grid previously and haven't yet refreshed the page. For example, if you manually clicked a clue in the top left corner to make it fade, than for all future levels you play during your current session, clues that end up in that corner will not fade automatically anymore. I don't know if that covers all cases, but those methods seem to work 100% of the time.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Something you could do for better automatic fading is to keep track the mines that are known, based on clues that can already fade automatically, and use that information to determine if, say, a compass clue should be faded. This way, you don't have to worry about fading a clue when the current arrangement of flags may or may not actually be correct (at least as far as the player knows) even though they satisfy the clue.

@CaRmAgE I like that validation idea, but with one little tweak: it should be okay if all the spaces not seen by clues are mines, or if there is only one space not covered by any clues, because marking a non-mine never hurts you, and if there's only one left, the fact that the game has or has not ended tells you that it is or is not a mine, respectively.

Some features i'd like to have:
1. An option to deselect the normal clue type (the one that looks like a 3x3 grid) in Minesweeper++.
2. Have the other non-heart clue types automatically open their spaces when their values are 0, even when they're in blue boxes.
3. An ability to automatically open the remaining squares seen by a clue (at least for the touch, normal, and eye types) when it already sees the correct number of mines (like in Microsoft's version of minesweeper), and automatically flag the remaining squares seen by a clue if the number of such squares equals the clue's number.

Love this game! I can play it over and over again... I have noticed that sometimes, clues don't grey out automatically when they should. And, once or twice, I get a strange clue where it just has, for example, the number 7 with no corresponding icon so I don't know what that clue means. (In Minesweeper++)

@alexx A bomb detected by a heart must have clear spaces to all four sides. If on the board there's only one heart vertically, and one horizontally, it must be at the spot where the two heart clues intersect.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
For the heart hints, I don't think I fully get it. There are levels (must be around 62 or so) that have only the hearts and I don't see how I can begin without guessing.

For the community levels, it would be great to have a sorting feature so I could play the best ones or the ones from my favorite developer first. Also, it would be nice to have a rating for the puzzle developer (ie, puzzle developer is rated 3 as an average of all the puzzles they've developed where the puzzle may be rated 2.5 or 4). Also, it would be nice to have a separate list of new puzzles that have been developed. Love the idea of a crowd sourcing the puzzle development, but have been having a hard time finding puzzles that I have enjoyed as much as the vetted levels.

i don't know if it's only me, but i think it would be nice if greying out hints was the same action as flagging (hold, mark or right click respectively)

I've started noticing, in M++, a few glitched clues--where it's just the number but no clue type, so it's impossible to figure out what the number actually means.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
why is it that when i playtest the top left square (just that one square) is dug into almost automatically so that i can't place mines or blocks there
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I can't recall if I saved the first time around or not. Either way, there were no markings. Now I've finished all levels available and have realized that you've combined two of my favorite games: Minesweeper and Picross!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I love this game and I wasn't even mad about replaying everything because I couldn't tell where the old levels ended and the new ones began. Minesweeper's always been an old favorite and you've certainly upped the ante in a big, unique, and fun way.

There should be a prompt when clicking the upload button. My incomplete level got automatically submitted while I was drawing clues around the upper-right corner of the board

On Minesweeper++ it would be awesome if we could redo the same puzzle over. Though sometimes I intentionally pick a hopefully bad cell to get out of a game that requires too much guessing, so it would be nice to have the option to opt out of getting the same puzzle again. BTW, loving this game immensely. It's one of the few that I come back to see if there are updates and end up playing some randomized games to keep the skills fresh. Thanks for all the hard work!

a shout to everyone who's making levels for the community levels . please guys make sure these levels are solved based on logic and not on guessing . let's keep the fun rolling

@iamarogue It happens a lot. You can grey them out yourself by double clicking them, but they may highlight after your next click. I pretty much ignore the ones i know i'm finished with even if it's highlighted still.

I found an issue with level 50 where some of the satisfied hints don't grey out but others do? I was able to solve the level but the hints weren't behaving correctly.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Is it possible to get a list of the community levels so they can be marked as done? I keep getting the same ones over and over again...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Regarding the community levels - please allow two scores: difficulty and fun. It seems that some puzzles are downvoted just because they're quite hard.
