Here's my system for levelling up skills (At level 100 I was HP 255, Speed 26 and Power 52 beating people 8 levels higher than me)
Same level - increase speed
lower level - increase blood
higher level - increase power
When you're fighting people higher/lower levels than you a win makes you increase difficulty and a loss decreases. At the same level as you you need to get 2 of the same (win/loss) in a row to increase/decrease.

anybody got any idea as to what point you should get speed up to, and then stop?
as in what speed level is most effective.

I believe speed denotes how many hits one does in a second, and the damage = the amount of damage you deal per hit.
So that means if your power is higher than your speed then speed gives more damage output.
4 power and 5 speed = 20 dps = 5 hits per second * 4 damage per hit
now, if I specc speed there my resulting dps would be 24, since it makes:
4 power and 6 speed = 24 dps = 6 hits per second * 4 damage per hit
If I instead specc power my stats would be:
5 power and 5 speed = 25 dps = 5 hits per second * 5 damage per hit

Best strategy: Keep blood/10, speed, and power all as close to equal as possible. Started using this strategy at around level 20, and haven't lost a match since (all same level opponents).

to level up fast, increase the next fight's difficulty each time you level up except for the first time. if you do that, it'll only take two battles to level up each time!

I think you should be able to see how many exp you get after killing someone. Instead of having to do out the math yourself.

first get 3 speed then 2 dmg then 105 hp/blood
then get speed to 25 then dmg to 45 and then just only up hp/blood
you can take over 10 lvl more than yourself in lvl 100

Game would be better if action figures actually fought instead of plain old numbers, And the numbers need to be calculated differently, its just too plain. 2/5
