The Spread Shot upgrade is extremely flawed and the Extra Life bit cost seems a tad to high. Also, for some reason I was getting a bug that a couple of pixels would be stuck a specific color *Yellow in my case* Other than that, fine job!

i love this game, i would have rated it higher if not for the horribleness of the spread shot upgrade, like rainburd said there making us pay for a downgrade..

Rating this 1/5 because of a fatal flaw. The 'spread' shot absolutely sucks. For making us pay for a DOWNGRADE you fail horrible.

not bad... not bad. I do wish the spread shot worked though :( I don't understand why so many people are rating 1/5! I mean is a "kongregate chat room" seriously as enyjoyable as this?

Aside from the fact that spread shot dosen't work, that the game is boring after 2 mins, and the 4 unit beastiary, this is a good game.

why is everyone so pissed at the fact that this is "overdone". just look at TD for christs sake. thats been overdone to hell, and it doesnt stop it from being on the top 10. and if you say "this isnt fun, TD is" I personally think TDs get old after awhile too. all of this aside, ill give the game a 3/5 because of its lack of enemys and upgrades compared to others in the genre.

Fun game. But I always have a hard time with games that use "arrow keys to move + Mouse to aim/fire" as the control style. It just doesn't work well on a PC. But then again, this isn't an XBox360 so I digress. 3/5.

A very nice game, good difficulty progression, nice variety of enemies. I liked it except for the spread upgrade, it made things harder.

Certainly an entertaining game, a lot like geometry wars. I had the same experience as Alazar, though I was apparently not nearly as patient ^^~. (nice score -> Alazar)

There is one inherent flaw with this game that keeps it from greatness. An enemy appearing right next to you and killing you before you can react. Can't give it over 4/5 for this.

Pretty fun little game, kinda reminds me of Geometry Wars. It needs some tweaking though... at about wave 8 or so the screen gets so full of enemies that the whole game slows down, making it a lot easier to dodge and survive to the next level. And then the next level it will get even more full of enemies and go even slower, until finally around wave 10 you get around 3fps even with all the settings at their lowest. Good for racking up unbelievably high scores like I did, but not too fun after a few minutes of slogging through it.
Also, I think "Spread Fire" is generally supposed to give you extra bullets per shot that fan out in front of you, not just be a thing that makes your shots less accurate and therefore have a slightly wider hit area. Might want to change that.

Little mini guide i made
1: Stay in a corner, you dont have to turn as much
2: only shoot green dark blue and red. Green is easiest and the other two are dangerous
3: when you are able to buy spread shot, wait a turn afterwards and get rate increase with it.. it sucks!!!

One of the better Geometry Wars clones I've seen. The graphics are really good, but the bit system as well the upgrades are just a little unfair. The spread shot only makes your shooting less accurate, and as a whole the controls just feel a little wonky. Nice game, but could use a little work. 3/5
