Interesting but the game crashes for me. I was getting quite bored of seaching for that store to buy a torch anyway.
Love the premise. Typical top down format would have been more enjoyable (no crashing, easier to find stuff). Really like everything you've written, in-game and game description. I'll leave it unrated.

Hey everyone. I'm sorry many of you have been encountering crashing or saving issues. These problems don't occur in other HTML versions of this game, I'm not sure what's going on but I'm investigating!

got the black screen error, this is the text from the console: uncaught exception: abort("Cannot enlarge memory arrays. Either (1) compile with -s TOTAL_MEMORY=X with X higher than the current value 67108864, (2) compile with -s ALLOW_MEMORY_GROWTH=1 which allows increasing the size at runtime but prevents some optimizations, (3) set Module.TOTAL_MEMORY to a higher value before the program runs, or (4) if you want malloc to return NULL (0) instead of this abort, compile with -s ABORTING_MALLOC=0 "). Build with -s ASSERTIONS=1 for more info.

would love to play once your game is more stable and the ui more user friendly (for instance having to re-enter a shop to buy a 2nd item is annoying

By the look of the printable map, this game is impressive in scope. However, I haven't managed to play for more than a few minutes without a black screen, and there is no sound. I like the idea, but the execution needs to at least make the game playable.
