Nothing puts fear in the heart of men quite like a bolt of lightning striking the earth. It is the one true connection we have to the sky above. The power of lightning can fuel us…or destroy us if we can not properly control it. That amount of pure energy is enough to activate my mind and force thoughts into my head, thoughts that can not be comprehended by the simple-minded drones that plague the streets so comfortable in their existence of censorship and conformity. In my mind’s eye I can gain a larger perspective, able to see beyond what this dimension holds; able to see within this dimension and bend it to my will. Lightning flashes across the sky, bringing light to the darkness brought to us by the storm clouds hovering over the earth. It can utterly destroy anyone it comes in contact with, if that person is not prepared for it. It can also pass harmlessly through, making no visible mark but leaving the person with a better perspective of how everything can be changed in an instant.
