This has received some criticism, but I think it works well to create a cluster of community directed stories. There's no real reason for people to vote randomly, so that's a non-issue. As for the similarity to forums, I think that's the beauty of it. It performs some of the functions of a forum, but with a more professional layout, and greater support for comics as opposed to merely text. If you like forums better, use those. If you want to vote randomly, click yourself silly. This will still function as an aesthetically appealing alternative to walls of text.

I think that this is an excellent idea! It allows unknown writers to become known! The story ideas are excellent, and allow for very interesting works of art! 5/5

If people don't really want to read books, I think this could be a great tool for them (me included)! It's interesting how it's made, with voting power and everything. I think, with a little time (and patience, from both you and the readers), this can become a great big thing!
There's one thing though.. If I, or anyone else wanted to start writing something, and post it on here, where should we send it, if it's at all possible? I like to write fantasy stuff, and I think I could get better with help from the community!

You'd have to talk to me, send me a whisper about it with your best existing writings.

... what if you don't play any of the games on kongregate, and just randomly vote?...... uhh..... is there some way you guys can prevent that? ...why bother voting if your not going to read anything? unless you enjoy skipping through lots of pages to reach the vote button. for the handful of dumbdumbs that decide to do that, its counter balanced with everyone else.
