These puzzles are... inspired. Though I don't always understand it right away, things are extraordinarily clear after I've solved a puzzle. At no point did I feel the need to go to a guide; I just had to look at the puzzle another way. Fantastic work.

I think I can make a good case for the type of "medication" jack uses. Amphetamines. His "levelheadedness" (emotional equilibrium/numbness), the way his words appear + a comment about him being "twitchy" (higher doses/addiction leads to Parkinsons-like twitches), It causes sleep deprivation, which leads to memory loss. And it's often the "self-medication" of choice among Schizophrenics (And with that I'm referencing his memory loss/guilt surrounding the "murder" of Kathryn). (Partial) Memory loss is a way for the mind to cope with extreme forms of guilt, basically "creating" an alter ego that is responsible rather than the self.
Personal theories aside, this game has been an awesome experience for me. 5/5

I think I've got it. Both games are obviously Kathryn and Jack's journey through each others phsyche. As the game progresses Kathryn's life begins to get back into a healthy state. The ending itself is not just a reference to the first game but it explains Jack's slow decline into an amnesiac and socially un-responsive state. I can only assume his "medicaiton" which is likely something such as weed of cocain contributed greatly to his mental breakdown. The ending of Kathryn falling to 'death' was actually taking place in Jack's mind and represents his newfound amnesia repressing Kathryn's existance and a whole. Perhaps Jack's ability to split himself in his mind isn't so he can keep himself company as much as it is faint ghosts and shreds of memories that he has not completely forgotten yet. It's pretty sad.
amazing game, 9/10 only because the gameplay is somewhat wonky.

Worst, loading screen I've ever seen, not going to give what is possibly a good game a chance because it has offended me before it even started.

It's nice that, for once, one of these games wasn't all "SUICIDE!!! HOMOCIDE!!! GRRRAAAAHHH!!!" There were hints, and possibilities, but for the most part it's left to us to determine what really happened. I like that. I also can't deny that this developer's games always come with fantastic gameplay in themselves. Hear that, philosophical game developers everywhere? Your game doesn't have to SUCK just because it's art. You can actually make it good, like this one. Anyway, 5/5, needless to say.

Like the story but really hate the stupid 5 smoke ring puzzle in the forest. Please don't ever put a timing puzzle in a game that requires a fidgety thing like smoke rings. I could get all 5 "locks" perfectly and still miss the freaking door. That just ruined it for me.

I greatly enjoyed this game. I felt that it was too short and there were a couple puzzles (particularly the swamp) where it seemed like it could just "hiccup" on you and make you redo the whole thing. Other than that, it was perfect.

ok this game is cool but having to read a dialogue font 5 when characters are moving around to no use is simply annoying to say the least. Puzzles are ok, character animation is awesome but wanting to read the dialogues but getting dizzy after doing so is too much for me. I leave this game for now.

just a thought - the tilde key does no exist on all keyboards (mine, for instance). you should choose another key for that....

Fun, but doesn't really hold a candle to the original in my opinion. However, I can't say that I fully experienced this game because the overload on dialog caused me to just skip most of it. I realize I probably should have tried to read through it, but I did find "The Company of Myself" dialogue much more engaging/interesting.
Just my 2 cents though, I did enjoy it!

Good puzzles. There is always something new after few levels: the rain, non-smoking areas, not being able to jump, etc. so the game keeps fresh. Nice art and nice smoking mechanics also.
And good story, I don't see why someone would think that she died.
