This game is pretty fun, the graphics are nice and simple, the music is awesome, but two aspects of this game bothered me a little bit. The first was that you get NO extra lives. One hit and your're dead. This wasn't such a bad thing until the enemies could fire back. When there's bullets flying at you, in addition to all of these enemies, being able to take an extra shot or 2 would be nice. The other thing I didn't like was how the Zero Write takes ages to activate. You use a power like that when you're in a bind so you can survive, but when it takes 5 seconds before the thing fires, chances are you've already died.

Playing on a netbook; hand cramping from holding down my dumb mouse click button with thumb while using fingers for wasd and the other hand on trackpad, dodging shots hidden behind bit piles like a pr0 while lagging through too many bits on the screen. Worth it all the way. "Zero wipes are for wimps!" I yell and restart the level again.
Amazing game, manages to get all the little details right with good gameplay and story in a very very simple format. 5/5 no question. If anything, there isn't much point upgrading the money-generating skills like magnet and multiplyer more than once or twice, since they cost as much as the other skills themselves anyway so if you have the money... But whatever. Whining at itty bitty details now ;)

Damn, I found the last levels difficult just because of my tears. Definitely one of my favourite storylines in any flash game. 5/5 and a favourite.

And here I thought I could go all the way to the end without upgrading anything except movement speed... and then for some reason I got stuck on level 16 so I had to cave and upgrade all the way...

Oversize blocks are stupidly hard to kill. -5 for putting in a level you can't clear before dieing many times to build up your upgrades.

Fun game, but with a deeply flawed final message. You are basically helping a chronically depressed friend commit suicide to escape their depression. There's a vast, unbridgeable abyss between this and any circumstance I can think of in which assisted suicide might actually be the right choice.

You need to make different bits for different amounts, the huge clouds of bits on the screen makes it impossible to see the bullets and small hunters, meaning you cant dodge them.

Game gets tuff towards the end, the game has a nice "Asteroids" feel to it. I just wish kongregate would disable right click function on the mouse when you're on their site the messed me up so much then trying to get the controls back properly after that was just as frustrating

Got that damn heart down to a single tiny sliver of black flying around shooting crap at me and just as I think I've finally got it... the whole damn thing reassembles!
Great game 5/5

"Oh, we could play Global Thermonuclear Warfare! ... Or maybe we'll go with Tic Tac Toe." This made me literally laugh out loud. Tee hee!

Wow, at first I was like "meh" but by the middle I was entranced and at the end I felt genuinely sorry for the computer. Then when I was done I went to the Dev's page and saw it was the same person who did "The Company of Myself" one of the only other flash games that touched me emotionally. That being said, he has a new follower!

I don't get these mouse/keyboard control games. I must not be coordinated enough to play them. I waste hours on them trying to get points and it isnt worth it.

Usually, when I see a BOTD I already have, I just load the game and quit to get the extra points. For this game, I played it all over again. It's just that good.
