Nice game, with a few obvious exploits, such as the one to level the engineers to max early on. Fairly easy to play, the shortcuts help a lot. The user interface is easy to learn and use, so a + for that. More customization and upgrade options would give this game a lot of replay value, though. Such as a couple of different branches for each unit - damage, more damage/scatter shots, versus: shooting speed, movement speed, range, reload, etc. 5/5, with hopes for a sequel or an updated version :)

I would rate 5 stars, but this game needs a fast-forward button. 4/5 and no offence to people who think this game is THE game

Exactly. A scouting party isn't there to hold, they are there to find what needs to be hold. That's where your explanation fails.
But anyways, it's a game, and a free one, and above that all, this issue is really nothing.

good game...needs improvements of course. a carrier destroyed 1 wall but i bunker 2 other walls and ended up with 2077 kills. don't have the carrier's be unlimited.

It's too slow and you gain money a bit too slowly. from day 4 to day 7 survived everyone, didn't spend money, had levelups, no destroyed walls, but still: I can't buy a rocketeer... damn!

oh, by trick I meant a strategy, it involves with a little breath space that this game provides you in order to succeed.

Finished the entire game all 40 waves. In fact, there is a trick and if you find it out, 40 waves wasn't bad at all. There certainly need improvements, but I love just as it is, nothing fancy but strategy only. Great Game!!

Was pretty good, but later in the game the troops started firing on the bugs farther back instead of the ones already attacking the fort. It would be nice if the view was pulled back just a bit so that the surronding area was easier to see, but not as far as zoom out does. Also it is hard to move troops from one area to another as selecting them and then selecting where they go sometimes selects other troops instead (more so as you get more troops). Overall a nice game, just needs some polishing done.

to the comment of Macross, there IS a save feature, its an autosave, so you just press continue to start where you left off.

heavy gunners aren't very useful: they can't hit flying enemies, they can't close enemies (attacking the wall), and they take a long time to reload...BUT they are almost essential for dealing with "carrier" bugs (i think that's what they are called) which stand back and send out endless numbers of small bugs! so i think 1 or 2 heavys and 12 or 13 gunners would be best (and 4 repairmen)

i think the reason you need to pay for things is because the troopers are mercinaries.think about it. have you seen the transport that brings them thier supplies? if you ask me,that screams non-standard.

Something's wrong here "Towers lost 6" uh... there's only 4 towers, not to mention i only lost 2 and that was several rounds ago... making the game impossible when i lose points for towers i don't even have...

1 word, Impossible. You don't get enough earning to get anything within a decent time frame. Also these spawners... seriously? 2-3 at a time on one wall and the AI of the troops and mortar are like the queen in COC "lemme shoot the minions forever and never attack the spawner." Better AI's on troops and more income would make this a perfect game. Seeing how the Creator hasn't updated nor responded in almost 6 years, I guess this is just a rant lol.

REALLY NICE its a fun game but could you make a 2 one with like the choice to upgrade your walls with like spikes for the weaker bugs and upgrade the troops guns and armor so they can stand the bugs?

@Dragon 77 the plot hole is filled when you read the intro. the planet has valuable resources. you need to get those resources. you need that base.

ok game 4/5 could use some om the graphs and lessen the costs on some things but yer good game o and there should be wepons upgrades

If the developers can’t even figure out how to make separate controls for music and sound effects, they deserve to have their games rated 1/5.
