Wel i was at a disadvantage and forgot to retreat. My Troops got destroyed and now i have to sit and watch them attack my wall which wll take forever because of its health and the move once every 10 seconds

Also, upgrading buildings could start out slightly weak, then get much better as it upgrades more due to the usually hefty amount of materials required (e.x. level 1 of a lumber building could increase production of a material by 300, but then level 2 increases by 700, level 3 by 1200, level 4 by 1800, level 5 by 2500, etc.)

A good game with much potential. Good beta, plays well, although some things could be improved. Enemy is too strong in the beginning, then too weak later on. The enemy does not seem to try capturing other areas besides your city. There should be a save game feature, and possibly a speed option where you can make progress go faster. Otherwise, it has a lot of potential. I understand it is a beta. 4/5

Game is too easy. I beat it in just over 150 days. But now that I know what to do, 100 should be a realistic goal. Hopefully the game is developed fully. With save function, update function, addition of lv10 buildings and researches, and the one diamond mine by the enemy city which seems to have the ability to upgrade and degrade at will and never runs out like it should. The enemy does seem to start at an advantage, but that quickly goes away. Need more enemy cities or faster curve for the opposition. Really hoping the game gets improved.

Its a nice game idea, but all the upgrading gets pretty boring fast. Also what is the benefit of upgrading most of the buildings, beside resource stuff and the other obvious ones?

Well, by the time the pc did his first real attack, he send 135 sword, 27 heavy and 27 archers.
I had my 182 sword, 202 heavy, 138 archers and 21 eagles prepared...
Its not that hard, if you concentrate on building resources at first. First, build all resource patches, THEN upgrade them, because thats MUCH cheaper and the result is the same. While you do this, build 14 Houses, instead of upgrading the same one each time. Before you know it, you have a enormous cashflow which allow you to constantly build units.
Also, buy a market when you have a lot of cash unused. With the gold you should buy massive quantities of resources to upgrade your farms etc even more faster.
If you can spare the resources, upgrade government and get research building to upgrade the production of the resource buildings.

Yes this is getting frighteningly easy now...I chose fire, which has helped immensely, and now I can waste his armies with ease. Level 3-4 wall, 100-200 of each of the first 3 types(Attackers, defenders, archers) can exterminate his 500 attacker 150 defender armies that he sends regularly. My archers generally bring the attackers down just under 400, then I use my special skill that empowers my units, and it usually always goes with attackers, so that my 200 attackers can kill the 400 or so taking fewer than 20 casualties. Oh, and does anyone know what diamonds do? have yet to see them in use for upgrades, and can't sell them...

One of the best games, i finally won, 9999215 was my score 200 days, fix the lvl 10 building thing and the general getting fired but still commanding and you have a gr8 game 5/5

mmmh.. 99 days.. got pretty boring really fast. In the beginning the enemy is much stronger than you, having a bigger army.. but then, at dunno, day 20?, he falls asleep :/ And he starts fights he cannot win (like 100 soldiers vs 300).
Basically it's a nice game idea, but it's too slow and not challenging enough. And the 'building' consumes most of the time, making things monotonous. So improve it^^

Launched another attack with a quite affordable general...now it works again ^^
5/5 favorited...favorite of all games on kong atm, looking forward to full version ^^

Hrm, have a nasty bug though, My attack hit their city at the same time theirs hit mine, so now the enemy intel marker won't go away, and my crusading troops, even though at 100%, can't get home

Very fun, I started the game knowing that they were going to mass produce troops...so I mass produced as well.
I must be pretty damn skilled or something, because I just successfully deflected two attacks, and pillaged their village for quite a lot of loot...^^

Excellent BETA looking forward to the full thing, with lvl 10 stuff allowed !! Computer military is pretty unbalanced but I'm sure it'll be better once a tutorial in introduced to help figure out what is going on. 4/5

Excellent start. I can see this game becoming pretty fun. However, combat needs improvement. I would say that it does need a strategy guide, because it is so difficult to build up forces.

What seems to work for me is to upgrade the city defense and get archers. Attacking from the walls works pretty well.

ppl, all you need is some strategy, otherwise, how did i managed to get 500 long swordsman, 140 archers and 50 heavy shield soldiers???

I like where this game is going, everything is awesome, except one thing, the difficulty of the enemy is INSANE!!! I was putting everything towards military and i was only able to make about 25 long swordsmen when the other cit attacked me and they had like 200 long swordsmen, 50 shield defense and 50 archers, i got my butt handed to me. I suggest lowering their difficulty so you can actually survive to see your city grow

So I put up a wall around my city but I don't have any troops. I am not allowed to leave the battle and have to sit here while my wall is slowly destroyed. This is taking forever.

city walls dont have any effect in battle after 2nd, 3rd or 4th upgrade... not sure exactly. They dont appear anymore. Neither do traps :|

the military needs some balancing for sure. I never can get more than 50 while i get attacked by 100 plus. And by the time you cant retreat its pointless because you dont have enough forces to fight back anymore.

Hey everybody...it says "BETA" at the top of the main menu screen. There are GOING TO BE BUGS! But yes, it has GREAT potential.

Great potential. Could definitely use a tutorial, tho I got the hang of most of it pretty quickly just by reading descriptions and requirements.
Could also use some balancing or difficulty selection. No matter how hard I work on it, I can't match the computer's military. And then by week 10, they double. So game basically lasts until you get attacked without option to retreat.

AMAZING game, but too challenging as it is... AMAZING job on almost everything, except for the fact I never have more than 60 troops trained when the enemy comes galloping in with 150+ and pounds mine to death... x.x

bug with the generals, only have one hired, but multiple appear in battle, and the levels are never constant, but overall, good game. already been said, but it needs save feature and a tutorial. 4/5
