once upon a time in a midnight deary, when i was weak and weary, i was at home, playing shooter and nothing more, diverted my attention to a game, it spoke of someone who is leonor, suddenly, my heart went sore, it was a woman who died, dead, and hopfully not alive anymore, i was it was edgar allan poe, a poet who lives no more, and i shall rate this 4 stars--nevermore! (5 stars by the way)

I laughed so hard as I heard the narration of the "poem" (based on "The Raven" from Edgar Allen Poe) that I accidently ran right into the zombie. XD

The paperclip in the lock I almost missed, because my aim isn't that great I got the "you are stupid" poem instead of an open cupboard and left the room to rub stuff on everything else instead.

Yay, eagl9922! It's not supposed to sound "death metal"... it's a bad impersonation of James Earl Jones' reading of The Raven from the Simpson's Halloween Special.
(and the "oooooooooorrree" isn't supposed to be creepy, it's supposed to be ridiculous!)

voice creeped me out, but i appreciate the time this must have taken.
@TYTbone, wow, i didn't think anyone on here would have ever played Pajama Sam! that was one of my favorite series

After a lot of thinking (and randomly placing things) I finally beat it! Ill make a walkthrough, if your stuck, just hold on. Again, 5/5

er... ever heard of something called "meter"? about 10% of the lines are too long. 'I remember the news guy once said, "shoot the zombies in the head!' " - would work much better with "as I recall, the news guy said, ..." and so forth. the ultra-drawn-out ooooorrrreeeee's are also getting annoying - but i love the idea itself so much that i still have to give it a 5/5

Excellent work. Neither high literature nor innovative game mechanics but an excellent mashup of two existing classics. 5/5

Good little escape game - and this from someone who normally doesn't like the genre. 4/5 for some miinor flaws. Did not like the voice acting - got on my nerves after a few minutes. The mirror puzzle and the fusebox puzzle have very small hotspots. Took WAY too long to hit the right pixels. On the plus side, the phot-realistic enviroment was great (Anybody else notice the cat wandering around?). The cleverness of the poetry was also very good - especially as it's based on one of my all-time favorites.
Quoth the critic, "Do one more!"

God that voice is horribly annoying, a terrible bit of voice acting. Its about as close to entertainment, as marilyn manson is to goth.

Well done game, please get a voice actor or stop trying to be 'creepy'. Clever rhymes playing on Poe's classic, just please get someone else.

interesting witty gamebut i almost stopped playing at the begining becouse of the rather loud bangs stopping me from hearing the great voice work you did and the movement from room to room could have been easier to understand other than that a very well done game bravo

I never thought I would one day/have the odd privilege to say/that I saw sweet Lenore again/(though she was after my poetic brain)/But I do love those rhymes galore

wasnt too bad, wasnt really my kind of game the way you designed it and with the naration. but its certainly an origonal approach and for the most part it was logical (hate those point and click games where you use a cup to climb a ladder or something stupid like that) so allthough i didnt really enjoy it ill still give it 4/5 for the execution :)
