"Crappy amulet of crap", "Sadam's beautiful amulet of concussion". My favorite thing about this game is clearly the names of the items.

Sooooo... that was tedious as hell. If anyone wants to save itself some trouble, I made public the Autohotkey script that I made and used to make inputting the key combinations for the special attacks trivial. It binds the teleports to Q and E, and the various attacks + heal on the Numpad (no block, but are you REALLY planning on using that??) (NumLock needs to be turned OFF) (sorry folks without a Numpad :( ) https://pastebin.com/1CMwqnBq

I love playing old games that I never knew about before and have been almost forgotten... I reminds me of my childhood, even though I'm still 14 xd

Maybe I was just doing it wrong, but I really hated that combo badge (I got it though). It really highlighted how Charge almost always will miss someone who's running away from you (and sometimes a target that's just standing still), and also how unforgiving the game is about letting the player maintain a combo. As far as skills, I found the jump attack to be the most useful once I got used to it, especially against bosses (and ESPECIALLY in Darwin Mode). When going for the combo badge, it felt more reliable than Charge, which probably ought to have been one's bread and butter for combos. The thing I spammed for the combo badge was jump attack in and teleport out and repeat, which may have been not quite right, but eh.

Don't be afraid of dying in Darwin mode. It's not rogue-like, you won't lose your character, you'll just get all the exp/items you've earned during your time fighting monsters. I guess that makes sense; I mean, you're already undead, survival of the fittest doesn't really apply anymore does it.

Given the context of what I wind up doing, naming myself "The Snarl" wound up being very appropriate for a kingdom rending, world destroying abomination. (Order of the Stick)

I'm not good with all the combinations for abilities, so I like how the game is balanced enough that I don't need to use them immediately.

inyourface45: I think you wrote something wrong... because movement speed is fitness, not finesse...so that's not really an argument against finesse.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Honestly, I don't know why you would ever want finesse. The exp gain is so low it's useless, fitness is better in terms of damage (plus it gives you health) and it's so easy to move around with skills the movement speed is useless too.

For an eight year old game, it's pretty decent, even though you can't remap your keys and Darwin lagged like a b****** (for me, anyway). However, finding a Colbert's amulet of anger made it all worthwhile for me. COLBERT NATION FOREVER!

It's a good game. The dark lord has awesome gear and voice, but the 'brave and courageous' armies he face are composed of tiny trolls who giggles uncontrollably after being hit with a mace, really ruins the feel of the game. Hate that troll laugh so much

needs some work. old game. came back to earn the achievements.. but.. the skill placement is pretty bad. Heal should either heal more with a higher cool down, or be easier to press.

Playing on Insane mode is much better for you guys since you get double skill points and an extra stat point per level. Well it might seem like it's difficult at first, it's worth it later on. If you are worried about the 20x combo then it's still possible to do on Insane. In fact I got it before any of the other 3 badges.

Any idea where to get the background music when you fight? I know the title but all I keep getting are the short versions of it.

Can there be bonus kill xp for killing stuff with spells. Sucks that I can kill 5-9 soldiers at once but no bonus xp like using a fail. Wheel of death then comet nice combo. I never will get the god like combo with spells but xp bonus would be nice.

The "Spell Damage" feature should add to your healing spell's effectiveness as well. If your healing spell heals for 10%, and you have a +70% "spell damage" stat, your healing spell should heal for 17%. Simple, effective. The spell refresh stat affects the healing spell, there's no reason that it shouldn't be able to get more powerful with other magic too.

feels like a 2d dynasty warriors sort of thing, which is not bad, considering feeling epic with combos and stuff with epic music is pretty... epic...?
