I like this game. It's like Final Ninja meets Canabalt. the additions of rope-swinging, throwing shurikens at enemies, and speed control make the game seem more refined and it's much more of a fun game to be thinking "Oh no how fast should I be running?" Also incredibly addictive gameplay. The beauty, for me, is in the simplicity. But I would like the idea of shuriken doubling up as grappling tools, that would add an extra level of depth to the game, and the extra control would be a blessing. 4/5

game is great but... grapling hook phsyhics arent that good... i mean, atleast i would wanna be abble to hold on the grapling hook and realese from it WHEN EVER I WANT. i mean, right now, i can hold on to it for, like, 0,4 seconds... and that keeps killing the game...

I find a weird sense of satisfaction in holding the right arrow key down and yelling "YOU CAN'T STOP THE ROCK, CAN'T STOP THE ROCK, YOU CAN'T STOP THE ROCK!"

I liked it, but some of the gameplay was a bit annoying... the platforms sometimes weren't quite timed to the ninja's jumps. And grapple could fall a bit short... literally.

I think this games has a lot of potential though it has some design issues. By mixing a typical plataform progression with a cannabalt like progression you just give too many options for the player.
I think you should try to make more like cannabalt, though I know people compared before xD I think you should remove the slow/faster speed options (too many controls for the player). And focus on shooting/jumping/doubleJumping/grapple.
About the grapple I think it must be included in the tutorial at the start because it ain't obvious once you see it in game.

Tip: You can jump further with the double jump by doing so. Instead of jumping off the platform then doing a double jump, you could purposely fall off the platform, which allows you to jump twice in midair, thus getting you farther and saving you from losing your awesome high score. + so other people can see it.

canabalt did not establish the run and gun genre it just happens to be the only decant run and gun game on this website.

5/5 This game is great I like it just as much as Canabalt, because it has other things like enemies, shooting, etc. that Canabalt doesn't.
