There's some sort of bug where his animation skitters that gets worse the longer you play. It interrupts jumps, basically making the game unplayable.

Every time I play this, it seems there's somebody in the high scores who's played the game over a hundred times that day and is averaging well under 1000m per run. I'm not trying to beat on people but I don't understand how anyone could play a game so many times without actually getting good at it...

I both love and hate this game. It's unique and addicting. However...the damn windows drive me insane, it's so hard because you don't know when one is coming, then make a jump like normal and just hit above it and fall. I hate having to start all the way back at zero every time one of the freakin windows gets me. The Runners High badge is going to be like the Racewalking Champion badge in Katwalk...it's gunna take a lot of tries, is very frustrating, but it'll feel just as good when I finally get it as when I got the Racewalking badge.

By the looks of things, canabalt is a building company, (the girder type platforms seem to say), the name of the game would however suggest that the mysterious cause of the destruction goes by the same name, it seems canabalt tried a bit to hard in their latest line of 'constructive' hardware...

You want a storyline? ok . It's another normal day at the office,then aliens attack the earth.You do what any normal human being would do,jump out of the nearest damn window,attempting to escape your doom one rooftop at a time.

Honestly, this game just frustrates me...I think it would be nice if you would widen the windows just a little bit. 3/5, would be 5/5 if I didn't die on 3 out of 4 windows...

About Aaants comment about purposely hitting things in order to keep a slow pace... I would try but then it wouldn't feel right, besides I find it really cool when your speeding along to the music.

if you jump just before breakin thru a window out of the building the explosion of glass flying everywhere is very satisfying.
