It would be nice if the levels were not randomly generated at the start. A simple standard template to let the player get used to the gameplay... or a level that that starts with balls within grabbing distance.

i love this dev, he only has 2 games but they are both amazing, just good simple fun games, good music and challenging fun.

Key advice: Dont grab any of the balls that are 25 ft or farther away. You will ether fall twords the bottom of the screen or not move.

This is a really addicting and fun concept. Good job on the game man, I always did love Canabalt and wanted another enjoyable little time waster to play. 5/5

I don't much like this as it seems rather unforgiving of even seemingly small mistakes. It's hard to give it a rating, as Canabalt was so completely awesome that I'm not sure if I'm just disappointed that this isn't Canabalt. :-)

Not...very good. The way the level seems to be randomly generated can screw you over. Those blue ones your not supposed to touch apparently, but the first load, I had ALL blue spheres. The second load, I had one green one, and then all blue ones, with no other way up. Also, what's the point in clicking and holding to launch your claw farther, if it's just not gonna pull you up anyway? It just makes you sink down to the abyss, but if you try to detach and grab another green sphere, you fall and die anyway. I'm gonna say...2/5. You get one extra point for it being a good concept.

Good game overall..4/5... to make it 5/5 you need upgrades and goals. For example, get to 100m, you go onto next stage with harder balls to grab. To achieve the upgrades you should add money that floats around, so you can change your path to get the money for better upgrades. Good work so far, dont consider this complete yet.

needs a longer time for the blue mines to explode. when your going fast u die like instantly. oh and please make the gray spheres fall time a little shorter(like not falling half a second after you grapple it).

Nice game, it has a lot of potencial that needs to be worked, good graphics,very cool game but you should fix that when you hook up to a node that is very far away you go down very quickly, other than that , good game 5/5.

its awful? game play is atrocious. i'd take it down and rethink the entire game if i were you. right now its a definate no that doesnt even get 1 star

Great Game no idear why the rating's are so low it's just to hard for some people i guess but if they tweeked out some of the thing's that make this game bad like the issues people mentioned before the game would be perfect

Really excellent game. Others complain about the distance thing, but it presents a good challenge. The other doodle bop or whatever it is called App was really popular and I like this edition to that idea. You will score big in my opinion.

The only changes I'd really like to see would be a shortcut from after a run-through to your personal highscores and a way to let go of a sphere without finding another. Badges would be nice, but everyone always whines about those, and I'm not sure how difficult it is to badge a game. The game is definitely still *fun* without them.
Reading through other people's comments, I'm surprised to see most of the negative critique being about the gameplay itself. I actually found the play fairly easy to adjust to. There's room for tweaking - perhaps some short-lived power-ups that you can catch - but overall I found the gameplay really smooth and satisfying. This is a nice, addictive game with short enough runs to fit in any time-slot you need to kill.

I'm having trouble with aiming, my mouse keeps shooting at the far away balls even when I retarget. Might be because I don't have a proper mouse

I like... how about some achievements for this game? Personally for me, fun wise, Gravity Hook and Canabalt is a tie. Both are awesome IMHO. (Or at least addictive :p)

I REALLY like the concept, but it runs a little too fast to be able to do anything that I'd call skill -- it's mostly just frantic clicking. Just a little bit of a physics adjustment and I'd say this would be great. :)

The original version at flixel.org is really great.. spoil it with good graphics and bad gameplay and you have this version here at kongregate.. quite disapointed, 3 stars aswell, bring the old version back!

Reminds me of "Donkey Kong: King Of Swing". But this one has no story, no tutorial and no difficulty setting. There is some potential, still 2/5

The original version is much better but still, Adam Atomic's games are all superior
