Nearly got to the end and got "your items are being inspected for safety, you won't be able to produce items for three days".
...Yeah, im close to the end and my daily expense is 3 million. You just took away my revenue for three straight days. Instant game over, especially when raiding a city only gets about 15,000.
+ this to warn people. I'm definitely not playing through again. Decently fun game though, 4/5.

Nice game. I got a little bit dissapointed at the begining of the game, and it's a great game. The only detail is that should be a shortcut for selecting more zombies by click that could be (for example) an extra button or pressing ctrl+click (it's annoying making hundreds of clicks in the last levels to attack a city)

Srry for double posting but i just tht this had to be said "Your zombies found $4,147,617 inside a miscellaneous random bank vault! How wonderful!" XD "miscellaneous random bank vault"
The game isn't meant to be that hard, even on hard mode. Besides, the only difference between hard mode and easy is the starting money and frequency of random events.

The last corporate upgrade can be impossible to keep up with. I had all money making things (products/upgrades) upgraded fully (with a 500,000 zombie pop), and I was about +20,000 a day, down from about +1,500,000 a day. Then I got hit with my third 3-day shutdown in 10 days. Goodbye Zombie, Inc.

If time stops when you order an attack, just pause and un-pause the game to get things moving again. Worked for me at least.

If you buy zombie upgrades one after another, they all cost the first amount. The price increases, but charges the base.

"A zombie fell off a curb and died"was given to me twice then once the battle is over...."Your army suffered 0 casualties." O.O ¿say whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?

Bug report: Purchasing zombie stat upgrades doesn't always subtract the right amount of money from your funds. Not sure how often or why this happens.

Bug report: When you lose the game during the "Three days where you can't sell/upgrade products", when you start a new game, you still don't earn money for your products for three days, though you can buy/upgrade.

sorry for double posting but theres a glitch sometimes if you go to the attack screen it might freeze once you decide on your location
Yeah, I've heard about this one, but I cant reliably replicate it or figure out what's wrong with the code. Pressing pause then play should fix this for some reason.

wow my army fails i was attacking churchill in canada and i got stuff like "a zombie fell off a curb and died" and "a zombie angered poseidon" man these zombies are unluckier than me

They said that being an evil zombie-controlling mastermind would involve tough choices, but I was never prepared to choose between destroying Santa's Workshop or Penguinopolis. WHAT KIND OF MONSTER HAVE I BECOME!??!?!?!

Petey, that's not a bug, that's a random event. The ZFDA investigates your products for 3 days and you can't sell any.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
fairly good game, but after getting into the game, the linear mechanics makes it really easy, needs some randomness like sudden events or other surprises. 4/5

Bug Report: After winning the game and starting a new one, I have negative zombies. After beating a few cities, i brought the zombies back up into the positive, but then i heard a ding and it went negative again even though i didn't lose any cities. Perhaps a variable isn't being cleared between games?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@petey, that is not a bug. every so often there is a nasty random event that stops cash production for 3 days. thats why you should always have savings.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Petey That happened to me too, but I paused and unpaused and it went back to normal. Not sure if you got the same bug, but if it happens to anyone else it might fix it...

honestly its an amazing game but the random events can throw the game a little off balance. I had expenses of about $60,000 and revenues of about $130,000. I had just purchased the improved contagion upgrade and was left with around $100,000. then i got the inspection random event and could not produce for 3 days. needless to say after two days i ran out of money. i couldnt help but find this unfair, i had planned ahead and made the right choices, and it was all brought down in a single fell swoop. the random events need some tweeking, maybe make them less intense (while making the positive ones less intense to balance it out) and making them happen less often

It was a good game however, that last company upgrade kinda breaks the game. I was barely surviving then the ZFDA recalled my items so I could not sell for three days. How about lowering the salaries per employee a bit at the end there?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Corporate capacity upgrades are deceptively cheap, but they'll skyrocket your daily expenses for salaries. As an example, having the max number of employees and getting the final corporate capacity upgrade increases your expenses from ~500k to 2.5 mil. Make sure to have enough cash and a big, upgraded army to rush new territory.

Hard to get a hang of, but really good game! If you add updates, I might suggest (And I know this might be a bit easy mode to add) adding a display which shows how much of one rating will be affected on the three levels for each zombie type you add. Like... under the headless zombie, i.e. have it say (+1, +5, -2). I have no idea if that's what it does, just saying that's something that might help someone who was having issues figuring out the balancing thing early on.

This game is uninspired, and presents no challenge whatsoever to win. All you do is upgrade upgrade upgrade and randomly pick a city to attack. The stats on the zombies and statistics make no difference, so you're not forced to actually decide anything. This game is so simple a macro could play it. I suppose the zombie theme is appropriate though, since the game turns you into one.
