Epic Ghostbusters reference:
Gentlemanly Ghost: Will you listen to my request?
Rupert: If you've got trouble in your neighborhood, call someone else.

ugh this game couldn't get any glitchier. i kept having to go to the main menu and back to get through the whole game.

I've had this issue several times now. On occasion, Rupert forgets how to mave. He makes a quick, jerky step but doesn't move. After that i can't get him to move no matter what i click. I've had to reload numerous times, which is upsetting because i'm enjoying the game otherwise.

i kept getting a glitch where the main guy is stuck and cant move oonce he's entered a room, had to keep exiting to main menu and continuing, very annoying

Oh man! That poor guy! This is what I calling tough luck! xD I'm not a fan of point-and-click-adventures, so just 4/5. But it's a nice story, nice art... and I like the ghosts :3

Okay, after finishing it, I upped my rating from 3 to 4. In terms of playability it's still iffy, but it's a darned cute game.

This game is beautifully illustrated and, from what I can see so far, terribly linear. Why can't I use the crowbar on the door until I free the ghost? Why so many "I don't need that yet"s?

I was going to give it 3 for being too short and a little on the easy side, but hey, why not give +1 for having a quest called "Screw the elderly!"

very clever, with all sorts of dry wit and absurdity just oozing out of this weird mansion. way too short, but with too much backtracking. great game! 4.7/5

I did not like playing this game. I hated going back and gathering items in previous rooms which were not possible beforehand. The magic of the glasses was a nice touch, but surely confused me. If a broom looks like a sword, how can it still cut? I encountered a number of glitches too. 4/10

For those who are having trouble getting the badge, here's the walkthrough: (NOTES: Supernatural Glasses is abbreviated as SG) ---- (1.) Click the stairs (it will allow you to use your crowbar later) ---- (2.) Head to the laboratory > click laboratory equipment > click the vial > bring the vial from your inventory and click on the objects in order: Red Slime > Green Goo > Blue Water (WARNING: If you do it in wrong order, you'll kill the ghost and you are not allowed to earn the badge which forces yourself to refresh the game and start all over again) > give the long living potion to the Gentleman Ghost > click the crowbar > exit the laboratory (Press + to keep this comment alive. Sorry for that stupid 1k character restriction, so I have to save parts in order.)

5/5, loved the feel of this game, the music, the humour, the story, it takes me back to old computer games like Monkey Island. If this was a 'feature length' game like Monkey Island then I would buy it. There was some clever things in there that test your memory and vigilance. My only gripe is that he gets stuck on things, it would be nice if he automatically walked around blockades. Unfortunately, this is common in this kind of game though. Another thing I liked is that you could play it how you wanted, if you did things ahead of the quest it didn't screw up the game play. You are free to use your initiative as well as simply reading from a check list.

It's OK but WAY too glitchy; there isn't any reason to control exactly where he walks in this game (and it gets him stuck a lot) so why isn't this just a straight point-and-click?

All those ghosts bear a striking resemblance to a certain "Myon" ghost that is actually astral half of Youmu Konpaku, don't you think? :3

I love how when you try to give the skeleton the gold bar and he says "I'll exchange this junk for your bone." "Are you joking kid?

yawn. Almost everything was available in the room where the puzzle was given. Interesting ideas and graphics, very poor implementation
