I had to play the game twice to get the badge, but the first time I accidentally clicked on the ugly picture before I 'painted' it on the mirror. The second time I did all the good deeds, and the achievement unlocked. Moral of the story - follow the walkthrough provided by MakotoShinobi and you should get it first time.

But if the time machine undoes everything I did, then I never delivered the last piece to Earl Grey, so the time machine was never finished, so he couldn't send me back... *mind blown*

Twice no I have become stuck by the chair in the room with the chest of Gold and had to start over. Is this happening to anyone else?

Okay... after playing through the game twice, I did not get the badge of the day.. The first time I know I screwed up and made the potion wrong, hence playing it a second time. Second time I flew through it in a few minutes, but did not get the badge? Not sure what happened, but it doesn't seem worth it to play through yet again. =/

Don't know about the restr of you but I had to do the whole thing over again to get the badge. Don't know why they would intentionally do that. Not a good ending at all. Please don't just waste time because yoy can.

A descent game although a bit to short. It is also a bit irritating but realistic to not be able to pick up items till you need them. keep up the good work.

hmm, i think of myself in the middle of the plays, as people have done it before me, but many more are going to do it after as well. now im just wondering how many buttons that guy must have in his room, and how long it takes to fix the house for the next to come around

I don't think Rupert is a fruit/vegetable kind of guy. I was also wondering why his backpack didn't burn with that torch inside it.

I put the baguette as the 4th chair leg and I am suddenly stuck. Not even clicking south like sonicfan0 suggested will move me out of that bugged spot. 2/5 because of that.

Games with irreversible mistakes should never exist. Not playing this boring game over again because the tea wasn't hot enough.

YESSS! Point and click adventure games are my number one favorite genre. The soundtrack is very reminiscent of Quest for Glory 4.
I think some of the dialogue hints made the puzzles a little too easy. And it would be more convenient if you could take items before you need them. The story is amusing though. Overall, very fun game. :D

The confusion about which painting is because Europeans wrote this game and Europeans call a "first floor" what Americans call a "ground floor". :D

"I knew this old flail would come in handy" - Then why wouldn't you pick it up when I told you to in the first place?!

I forgot to say that there're some little bugs that have to be fixed as well (IE: the character can get stuck in some places like the Library, forcing you to refresh the game). I guess that those were also part of the reason I voted this 3/5... To be fair, I'd vote this a 3.50/5 without those bugs... but unfortunately, we can't give that kind of votes with the current system, so I'll have to limit myself to express that score here with this post...

(I had to separate my post in two parts because of the 1000 letters limit)
Overall, I like the graphics, the concept, the music and some of the puzzles, but I think that those two things are really important in a good game of this genre. Therefore, I'll vote this 3/5.

The concept for this game is very good. Unfortunately, it has two things that I hate in this genre (graphic adventures/point and click): one, the necessity to do things in a very specific way or a particular order, and the penalty of having to reset the game in case that you didn't do it correctly on your first try; and two, the fact that the game doesn't allow you to pick up objects or to do some actions if you haven't done some other things first (and I'm not referring to the obvious things that have to be done in a particular order to give the game some logic or sense, but rather to simple and common-sense actions like to be able to use the crowbar on the Dinner Hall's closed door anytime, and not only after you tried to go up the stairs... -some people can try to solve the rooms first, and misunderstood the fact that if you don't do things in a particular order you won't get through in the game and end up thinking that the game is bugged or something like that- ).
