This is an interesting game! It has a unique feel to it, and I like the fact that most of the characters are actually pretty decent folks (while still being really seedy and kind of disgusting). On the downside, the main mechanic seems to be "search every square, and as soon as you get a new quest, search them all again." That's not very interesting to me. I'm partway through act II and I don't think I'll be coming back for more.

BUG: I put the sticky "Out of Order" sign on the mens bathroom in the club, but the sign is still in my inventory. Instead, the caffeine pills disappeared. Seems to be a problem.

hey i checked walkthroughs, and i am full on legit stuck. none of the actions are moving on. don't wanna spoil it here but i'm right before what rhymes with 'hexploding fetchup' idiot in alley just wants his telescope, no components for (what i already know is) the 'prank' nobody in the bar is talkin, i got the webcamera too, i mean literally right at the goal line here. no items in the XXX room either. (got the glove, splint etc)
only ppl that bother speaking are ditz and arif, guy asking for his prank, idiot in alley asking for telescope, cinema guy mentions tetris, gal and desk gal in club lavendar front (one is sick of waiting, other tells me no she didn't see trent) tried every item on everyone, searched everything. it's a legit freezing here i think.

Game started with promise, but the quests became so random and the solutions became increasingly bizarre (exploding ketchup packets? really?). By the end, I only completed because I had already invested 90 minutes into it, not out of a sense of excitement. The game should have been shorter, and some of the mini-quests forgotten about.
It was also really annoying to go through a screen with a fine toothed comb only to find that randomly talking with someone caused a new item to appear. It became agonizing to repeat and repeat searches, playing find the magic square.

talks to the lady at hotel desk after getting access to cody "better not disturb her, she looks busy"... me "WITH WHAT!!!???? STARING BLANKLY THROUGH ME AND THE WALL AND WHATEVER ELSE THERE MIGHT BE"

It's probably not a good thing when the character you're playing is so over-talkative and annoying that you keep guiding her back to the alley, hoping that at some point she will be murdered by a transient.

i can handle the language, the drinking, and the drugs, but to promote SMOKING CIGS INDOORS is completely irresponssible

I really love this game, and I really want to finish it, but nothing is going to get me past 34%, or into Room 5, because I CANNOT PICK THAT LOCK.

This game does seem to have a lot of issues that can be learned from. I have to go over every pixel like three time before anything happens which makes the game too tedious.
Also there are points that make me raise my eyebrow, like why do i have to pay to use the payphone when i already have two cellphones?

shit man! just steal a bloody battery! this game is stupid and makes no sense with alot of plot holes and long and boring interactions 1/5... i think thats the first time i have ever rated a game that low...

First off, that bobby pin minigame is a load of garbage. Second, the amount of pixel hunting in this game is infuriating, and finally, WHY would this dumb broad spend a dollar using a pay phone to call the florists when the first mission was all about GETTING A NEW ÃœBERPHONE? 1/5, and that's me being generous.

The first lock pick was annoying. The second just completely retarded. Especially when you force me to click through all that dialogue after every failure.

Adventure games are amongst my favourite genres, but I really hated everything in this one. There is a lot of annoying pixel hunting, you need to visit the same places multiple times to collect something that wasn't avaiable before, the dialogues are sexist and childish, the trades make no sense, sometimes the clues are accessed only on the first dialogue, you need to combine item in totally random places with absolutely no indication of doing so. You seriously have no idea what makes adventure games fun and/or challenging; this is only slightly saved by my love for pixel graphics, but even with that this is an utter fail.

Nicely done adventure game. One bug report though: After meeting the Russian dealer I kept the key to his hotel room, but it wouldn't work on the door anymore. If I try to use it, I get the "That doesn't work" message, which makes no sense since it IS the correct key for the door.

Hm...wow, an observation, the npc Arif wants a Driver license, did the developer wants one? XD, just like a little thought xD

4/5. I pretty much have the same complaints as others. Other than those it was a pretty good game, with a good plot and puzzles

... there are so many walls in this game that I could've used to grind the screws into bluntness. Why did it have to be the bar?

game flaw, whilst playing i received the caffeine pills and then went to talk to cindy and they were gone, couldn't get anymore, couldn't advance story game = fail 1/5 for lack of testing

Wouldn't the nonpointy end of the screws have worked? You could even have used the pointy ends to fix them to the flashlight casing.
