My only issue with this game is that sometimes, if I'm bumping against something above me, I can't dash at all, which makes it difficult to dodge some enemies in some areas. I would love it if you could still dash EVEN IF you're touching the ceiling. I might be able to achieve that 1000 meter mark then. :P

great game, there is almost no way that i can see to make this better, although I do have a few ideas to make it a little different, 1. a difficulty setting that changes things like enemy health/damage and scroll speed ext. 2. to make it a bit more challenging i was thinking it would be interesting to have an enemy that shoots heat seeking (about half reload rate and bullet speed to normal bullets) bullets that of course explode upon impact with a wall/platform.
rate up if you like (so the developer can see it) and rate down if you dont

Great game, congrats, Arkeus.
However, I'd love an option to remove mouse from the control scheme altogether. Just use X for jumping, Z for shooting horizontally, Z+up/down for shooting up/down and Z+up/down+direction to shoot diagonally. It would make the game easier and more playable for me. YMMV. :)

I don't like Chaotic's idea much.. :\ If people can get higher scores the more they spend, then you can essentially grind your way on to the high scores - in fact, it would make grinding more important than actually being good at the game.

1013m / 626 killed and pacifist award on the same run... the game is nice, but too easy, i think there should be more weapons or some RPG elements like armor/inventory, potions etc... anyway 5/5

I like chaotic's idea of uber expensive 1 time use items to make high hight possible to people with diamonds to spend. But to players who have limited upgrades these are a wasted of money.

Simply the fact that you listen to the gamers is worth an extra star for me, most developers think their games are the peak of awesome once released, sadly. But there are a few devs that do take that extra step to try and make their games even better. Can't really find any annoyances after the last update (except me sucking at the game, but that's hardly the games fault ;p)

Since I have an ever-growing coffer of diamonds with no way to spend them since all my skills are maxed out, I suggest that in between runs, you can buy one-time-only power-ups; very powerful, but countered by the fact that you have to restock on them once they've been used. Shields for 250 diamonds each, which get destroyed in place of your heart points. An emergency teleport for 5000 diamonds, which saves you from falling one time. Time-stoppers, screen bombs, all that jazz.

I love it. Its similar to ToG and even refs it, but it isnt the same at all. Clever, fun, simple and upgrades. High replay value. A genuinely fun game.

Very fun shooter/platformer, addictive and way under-rated. Definitely deserves kongregate achievements, pretty amazing work for a core of 45 hours.

so many portal references in one game the exit is a lie=the cake is a lie. spaaaaaaaaaace=spaaaaaaaaace.and there are probably many more I didnt find and arent words like the analysis thing to me seems like what could be considered an evil robot

Maybe change dash to somthing more usefull, like an upgrade that revives you when you die or when you fall (one time only.)
