"Versus Umbra" is a very interesting game. There is a lot of game-play to be found within it. The main campaign has a decent length and a variety of challenges. The weapons all feel fresh and unique to use, obtaining their own special ability upon reaching level five. Upon finishing the campaign, you get the option of starting Paradox Mode, a harder version of the campaign where you can level up even farther. The soundtrack in the game is enjoyable and I did not find myself getting tired of it. The art is also very clean and nice to look at. I didn't find many issues with the game, although the enemy variety wasn't too large. There were a few different types of enemies and each had modified versions that you fought regularly. Despite the repetitive nature of the game, the amount of upgrading there is to do made it not feel boring. Verdict: 5/5

the easy achievement only counts for the main campaign folks. kinda odd considering all the content is open now but whatever.

serious mechanics issues, constant movement glitching, pauses, speedups, really choppy from the start. good game idea, nice weapons.

Can you increase the level limit? I really dislike the fact that there are tons of perks to choose from but I can only get 20 of them.

The main screen causes almost crash-level lag at first. My browser (Firefox) will just hang for half an hour before it will load it.

This game is "meh". Nice in some parts but lacking of key features like "restart level" button or graphic settings... sometimes the action is excessive and it turns a mess: a huge problem when you want to complete some challenges. 3/5*unworthy

I'm not crazy about this game. It needs a lot of work. First of all, if you are going to be able to assign your weapons to a hot bar, that bar should be visible while in a mission at all times. I'm not gonna remember where I mapped 9 different weapons. Also, the fact that the monsters get directly on you and are as fast as you means that by the time you change to another weapon, you could be killed. Also while in the weapons menu it would be helpful to at least see the names of each weapon instead of relying on the little pictures which can be ambiguous. It's an alright game but right now too frustrating to get into.

everything i do is a good full minute or two behind my button presses. i just stand there firing off into space more often then not. this is really one of the worst programmed messes ive touched in a long time. a game this simple should not use up my resources like this.

Divide and squash 80 enemies... I killed 80 of them and I dont get challenge, what should i do then? Anyone could help?

So my comment about it being like Rachet and Clank was 5 minutes into the game.. after getting the achievements I can say this game is definitely based off of a rachet and clank type game. ;-; 5/5 still. beautiful, fun game.

the game is pretty bad, it has bugs, it runs slowly and wtf on level 3 every weapon get buged... i can only give 2 stars because i like the music, the rest is bad

Easy badge = 5 minutes or less. If Kongregate starts begging you to rate the game, it's not an Easy badge. Easy badge should be Medium at least.
