This is probably the best of its genre: great music, neat story, cool upgrades! Also, the mystery upgrade is definitely worth it. ;)

Problems:
1) Steering is not obvious, leading to a lot of stalls
2) Stall escape is not obvious, leading to a lot of frustration
3) No tutorials on upgrades are available, so days are sacrificed to learn
Note: I am playing this on a laptop and its possible some error come from that.
Game would be much improved if instead of having tons of upgrades and no tutorials, upgrades become available slowly throughout the game, with a tutorial to explain and try each item. Spacebar to skip sucks because I'm also using spacebar for engine, so most text gets skipped unintentionally

hmmmmmm lets see... putting rockets on paper planes, a boy who thinks a paper plane is a bird, another guy who thinks its the end of the world because of a paper plane, the airplane could change if u get enough stars which is very close too the ground, the world freezes if you throw it backwards... holy crap, i want this paper plane!

by far the best and easiest way to get the one hundred space stars. Fly up as high as you can with just like three bars of fuel left with all upgrades maxed then just keep using your fuel to make the plane point upward and stall out and then as the guy said in one of the top comments, hit a bunch of random keys instead of space to really quickly and it sends you flying pretty fast and just keep repeating, dont angle too far up and use too much fuel, only use enough to stall out. you should easily get the 100 space stars. thumbs up so everyone else can see this.

*Gets paper airplane, camel runs off. Assumes that people smiling must be dying in a fire. Uses amazing teeth strength to cut his own finger open. Writes "THE END IS NEAR"* That escalated quickly.

Can someone please explain how to get in-game achievements? I have every upgrade maxed, yet haven't earned a single achievement. I even tried creating a new game and still can't earn achievements.

So, the fix for me was to start a new save. I had used the middle save for my first play, and as soon as I started a game in the first save slot achievements worked fine.

First thing I did was read PonceMcBeaty's comment, the next thing I did was throw the plane backwards. The third thing I did was restart my browser.
