There is a moneyglitch: When you have the vanguard go to a place where the price for silver is high and the price for diamond low; Then you have to downgrade to the medieval tank so you will get 6 silver and 15 iron. Sell all of this and buy 1 diamond and upgrade back to the vanguard. This will give you profit. For a faster way buy as much diamonds as you can and downgrade upgrade downgrade updrade untill you don't have anymore diamonds. Then sell all the silver and iron and do it again. I got a million in a few minutes

This game is utterly brilliant. I love open-ended games and trading games. I know it's an old game, but Frontier 2 would be completely epic.

I love how one guy on foot, waving a little dagger, tries to hold up my gigantic ship on wheels loaded with heavily armed expert fighters.

FUN FACT: if you find a pirate in the tavern that has really good stats u can get more then one of them..simply make room for a new pirate, go to party, go back to tavern and hes still there.......i have 4 of the same pirates, all with with max defense, attack..=)

good potential but getting the best wagon, armour and weapon happens very quickly and you are then just left with clicking to get from city to city to complete quests and nothing else. money becomes pointless. would be great if you there was more upgrades available.

A glitch I found: If you hit "Go" quick enough after combat ends (Typically before it moves back in proper place) and you run into combat shortly after (I was delivering a package and combat was MUCH more frequent) you'd end up skipping combat and instead just be able to "Go" anyways, skipping the new encounter.

After 3 days and about 8 hours of gameplay i finally get all the achievements in the game. But yet there is no kongregate achievement for this. i rate this game 5/5 but come on kong give me some credit for totally wrecking in this game.

Turns out since you only encounter Buccaneers during certain Enforcer missions, you can smuggle illegal goods without worrying about being caught by other Enforcers, all while keeping a "pure good" reputation

Pay serious attention to the buttons, incase the "Go" and the "Surrender" button be mixed, refresh the browser,do not proceed any action.
Or you get attacked by a enemy you cant fight back or you will lose nearly all your progress due to surrendering

*Find someone on the road in poor condition* Me: I know, I'll give him some extra food and water. I'm such a nice person. *Proceeds to run over with massive warship*

By the way, "mercenaries" actually should be "merchants", as when you approach them it says something about "peaceful mercenaries", because mercenaries are actually hired soldiers in real life, you can see that they actually should be merchants. Other than that, the game was great except for the occasional glitches: 4/5.

You find someone on the road who appears to be in poor health. You don't have enough room to take them to town so you give them food and water. How nice of you! *runs over them afterwards*

So i'm on my land boat with a full party with claymores and mythril armour, and a bucaneer on foot tries to attack me... smart guy.

how do you heal your self because you always start to loose health in battles and you cant be healed so how do you heal yourself?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
HP healing appears to be rather buggy which would explain the level of confusion. Sometimes you reach a town and heal, other times you get in a fight, travel to 2 more towns before your next conflict and still haven't healed.

That awkward moment when a buccaneer party has a giant ship just like you and you think in your mind "Let the best ship win,you scrub!"

Go to the Buy screen, and in the Narcotics area, put a -9 in front of the zero, then change the zero to a 9. Click Purchase and Bob's your uncle.

Enforcers are mad. They tell me a very powerful pirate ship to be destroyed with top notch armour etc etc. I take my Vanguard with 5 people armed with Claymores and mithryls. There is a medieval tank with 4 people having short swords. Okay, this was still better. Then in the last mission, they tell me of "The most deadliest mission ever". I find a ghost ship, only with 30 hp. In one blow my crew eliminates it. So tough.

I don't understand why my health does not replenish and there seems to be no means to increase or replace it. This must mean I am inept at this game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
you gotta hand it to this brave little buccaneer. i don't know anyone else under any circumstances who would try to go against five fully armed men on a ship..

@Shalfron On the top right of the chat log, there is 5 bars going from short to high. You can select the speed for the battle between x1 to x5 speed. That can help you in the 'speed up all game' matter.

A couple things:
1: when i'm at full fast forward, and i start a fight, it still says go sometimes, and if I hit go, it glitches.
2: the technology level is kinda pointless, and it should count towards the towns level of defense. It makes no sense that I should be beat by a rudimentary town, when i have best...everything.
3: sell at feature for weapons and armor?
