So somehow playing this game on Ruffle, you can drag the slingshot down, outside of the game window - so with no upgrades, I just zoomed out the screen to 25%, and won the game on the first day.

@arduinoMASTEH I just press F12 to open the console and then Ctrl+F to search for instances of ".swf". The working SWF files may have some weird symbols, but they all share the same format: https://chat.kongregate.com/gamez/[4-digit number starting with 00]/[4-digit number]/live/[SWF Name].swf?kongregate_game_version=[10-digit number]

SPOILERS: Start with 2 band and 2 launcher. Go straight up and look for gold springs and then try to collect money and take as long as possible to bounce on the way down on different platforms to max out your time. If you don't get a gold platform on day 1 I restarted. Once you get that, you should get ~500-1500 dollars day 1. I get PARACHUTE then emergency rocket then max out top 2 best you can. Get to your peak and slowly parachute until you hit a gold platform. At the end of your speed boost up, use rocket. This should get you into the 10k+ dollar range, then you just launch for day 3 and 4 to get money doing the same thing. Launch day 5 with top 2 maxed and emergency rocket and coast to max height and win.

Along with what videogamekraz said, try to go straight up for launch and not use boosters until you've reached max height. I usually earned more. I usually wouldn't get $250 the first day unless I hit mulitple boost platforms. After that, maximize height, coins and falling time.

total randomness if you can get to space in 5 or 10 days, I expect the only people who get either the medium and hard badges use cheat engine to max everything on day 2

Kongregate sure was a lot better back when they were hosting more games like this instead of all the "Page Down: The Video Game" garbage that killed them at the end.

Fun game,but hey, hard badge relies too much on luck. I managed to get 250 $ on first day one out of ten times, not gonna refresh again and again for that

BotD is easy. It's 50 days. I got it in 18 days at first. Then 8. Then 5. That's seriously difficult and you need to be lucky and refresh the page a lot because there's no reset button except after you win and you want to reset after you fail the first day.

This game is pure chance. It takes a lot of tries to be lucky enough to get enough golden coins and golden platforms in order to get the hundreds or thousands of dollars on the FIRST day needed to win the hard badge. Also the whole highscore list is full of cheaters who won in 1 day and one person who somehow won in 0 days. I don't even know how that's possible.

THIS GAME MAKES NO SENSE! How did they get the idea of making rockets to go left and right in a game that is about going UP?! There is no way to control what happens, really, this is what they call bad game design.
