I wish this game has "hard badge mode" where you have 5 days to reach space and if you run out, you will return to title screen. I had to refresh the page and load this game after failing to reach space in 5 days so many times.

note-don't refresh right after you screw up on the first launch. the first launch on the time I got the hard badge I got $2.75, the next i got ~2300, then ~5500 and the next I got over 12000. also i love the end music

okay, at day 20, i had like no upgrades. then at day 23 i had max upgrades and i didnt have to boost at all and i reached space in 5 seconds. WTF?

If you want the hard badge, it's pritty simply. I got the badge on my third try, this is what your must do:
Day 1: Start with two squares on band and launcher, then with some lucky can you get about 900$
Day 2: Buy E-rockets and spend the rest of your money on band(or launcher)
Use E-rockets when you reach 0mph. With the money you get buy another E-rocket(if you don't have enough money spend your money on band(or launcher)
Day 3 and 4: Do the same as day 2
Day 5: maximize E-rockets(with three) and maximize band and spend the rest of your money on launch
If you did those things, the hard badge is pretty simply

Super game! I made hard badge (very hard) in 5 days. In first day I had collected 100$, in second11k$, in last day I had maxed: Band, Launcher, E-rocket, left and right rocket on 5lv, parachute lv1.

This is what I did:
Day1: Got level 2 Band, Level 2 Launcher.
Day2: Bought Level 2 E Rocket, 1 Parachute
Day3: Had $25k. Spent all on Launcher and Band and the rest on Maxing E Rocket, Fuel, blah blah
Turns out maxed Launcher and Band is enough to get to to space without doing anything else. Probably can be done with 2nd to last launcher and band with some e rockets.

Tips for hard badge: every 10 ft of height is another .1 to multiplier. every 10 seconds is another 1 to multiplier. First day recommendation is 15-20 dollar collection before multipliers. Pretty much need to hit a gold platform for it. Also space height is 4,500ft + so others can see

After several restarts I finally got lucky and made 4k on day 1 which made it a breeze to reach space on day 4, everything maxed and 25k to spare by then. I was really close a few times before that hovering around 4300 feet on day 5 :-) Pretty neat game. The advice in the top posts are good!

Just did it in a 3 day run on about the third try. The trick is getting 3k+ on the first day. Just hit every blue platform you can and run out the clock. I hit two golds and a bunch of blues and got 4.5k. Max E-rocket, and then balance the rest between band and launcher. After the second day of the same approach, max band and launcher. Win on day 3 without much trouble.

got over 19k by a lot of luck on day one maxed out e rocket, parachute and had band and launcher missing only one on each. Would of made it on day 2 but I accidently tried used the a,s,w,d keys and didnt realize it til the day was over but made it day 3 easy xD

Hard badge seems impossible since the arrow keys don't work in Chrome, this is really a big problem with a lot of games on Chrome :/

Three things Kongregate aught to make sure games have:
1. a Mute button
2. Tutorial
3. "Main menu" button.
This game have none of them. The music, as in most these games, is repetitive and annoying. The game has no instruction, and you pretty much have to guess what to do, and the incredible zoom in which the game is played prevents any kind of logical thinking. This is mindless terror in essence.

the only complaint, is the game is too luck based at the start. it is possible to get the parachute on the first day, but i suggest you buy the band/ launcher or e rocket first.

EVER NOTICE THAT THE GAME HAS NO WAY TO TURN DOWN THE VOLUME? i like to have my own soundtrack and games with out volume / mute buttons really get to me

I just wend to play and was incredibly lucky on day 3 and 4 so I got everything upgraded by day 5 and just like that I was in space :D Before that 17 days was my best!! :D

Wooh three days :) hit like three gold platforms on the first day got $2,500, then got a parachute three e boosters and upgraded the launcher and band a little. then went as high as possible and parachuted all the way down and was able to upgrade the bad and launcher all the way ;) just gotta get lucky on the first day.

Put that $3,781 into level 3 E-Rocket, level 3 Radar, and as much fuel supply as you can afford with what's left over. You should reach space on day 4, maybe 3.

People, it is honestly not that hard.
ALL you have to do is buy a parachute as early as possible. The rest works by itself. I complete the game in 8 days or fewer 100% of the time.
