Badge of the Day tip: Buy bombers & bouncers to full, then gunners and a point of miners, then miners to about 5 or 6. After that, save up your points until you have a lot (I forget the #, but like 5k), then buy all remaining points in one go.
This is to help you control leveling and refueling: Too many seekers while you're airborne, or too many miners, and you won't land, so you'll run out of fuel, dying before leveling. You do need lots of stuff, though, to get big (& high) combos, but seekers are problematic, since they shoot upward.
And like the guy said: If you're high on fuel, keep the combo going as long as you can, to max the XP contribution to your NEXT level; only refuel (land) when necessary, if you can help it.

A few tips for acquiring the Enhanced Mode badge, I got mine on the first try:
---1. Choose Medium difficulty. Easy isn't good enough for the badge, which for some reason the badge description doesn't always mention.
---2. Avoid upgrading Seekers. I'd suggest waiting until all the others are maxed at 10, then not upgrading Seekers until you have the 2,200 experience required to fully upgrade them all at once. Really, they suck; their missiles only give you enough of an upward boost to keep you away from hitting vehicles, and can't really get you very far off the ground. Other vehicles/missiles are better at keeping you airborne, like...
---3. Bouncers are your friend. They provide a longer lasting explosive on the ground to lengthen combos, and are a lot cheaper than the Miners that do the same thing. (Of course, Miners are pretty good when you can get them, too.)
...Other than all that, just play well. If you're lucky, you'll make it! If not, well... read the other comments.

Leave the Seeker at 0 until everything else is at 10. Seekers actually hurt you by making it difficult to get back to the ground when you need to collect points before running out of fuel.

This would have been a 5 star game had it not been for running out of fuel midair and exploding on a huge combo! BOO 1 star for you!

Lost twice to exploding in mid-air plus the empty skys. Really weird and annoying after having almost everything upgraded and there is still empty skies.

I hate this game. The badge should be impossible. This game it's just pointlessly hoping that you don't run out of fuel while you try to max your combo and win the stupid game.

Seriously? Fuel running out when in mid-air? While doing combos to prevent the very fuel from running out?
Running out of fuel mid-air and exploding when landing would have levelled up you is an extremely irritating way to die. After it happened the third time I stopped playing.
Failed because the XP bar didn't hit max off of a 50 combo before the fuel ran out...seriously? Was fun-ish right up until that point.
All these comments are mine, just wanted to post it again

ok, its easy to get the badge of the day, when you level up your fuel is replenished, try to do the best combo without touching the ground, once you hit the ground the combo will end and you recieve exp, do anything you can to avoid level up when you have full fuel, then do your best combo when you running out of fuel and the just touch the ground, that way you will level up and have full fuel again, just repeat until you have level 10 on upgrades

Am I the only person who thinks the sound is one of the worst things about this game. It is extremely loud, you only can mute music and it gets demuted sometimes.

1/5 for the same reason basically everyone is complaining about: dying in midair when fuel runs out. Which is stupid since you don't get the experience points that save you until after you hit the ground. Also I muted the game but once I died the music came back on the main screen...

I landed while I still had fuel left, had one more upgrade to win, I landed with a 70 something combo, it refueled me, then after jumping for a 1 combo, for no reason my car blew up... and I lost... wt heck?

annoying that you explode midair while trying to finish a combo, or even worse, explode as you finish the winning combo. 1/5

Why the HELL do you instantly die if you run out of fuel in the air?! Dumbest decision I may have ever seen in a game like this.

I HAD ONE MORE FREQUENCY TO BUY THEN I GOT THE ACHIEVEMENT. I ONLY NEEDED 100 POINTS. I WAS ON A 70 COMBO. AND I BLEW UP MID AIR BECAUSE I RAN OUT OF FUEL. I HATE THIS GAME.

I lucked on and got the badge first try. I upgraded the mining things only partially and the seekers were the last full upgrade. I also started purposely staying in the air so i got multiple levels before touching the ground. More upgrades at once = less screw

I'll never understand why some games let you turn off music but not sound effects. Also, sure would be nice if music stayed off when it goes to the menu.
I got further when I didn't know what I was doing than when actually trying to get the badge. *sigh*

For people struggling with the badge
Upgrade Order:
1 Miner First Priority to keep combo-ing
2 Gunner/Bouncer: To stay airborne (They make you bounce the farthest
3 Bomber: So you can get more combos
4 Seeker: Just to finish

this game is the worst game i have ever played for sure. You blow up when you lose fuel, if i hit the ground i would have won

Devs apparently from Hollywood. Make sequel due to success. Sequel sucks. Difference between previous and 'enhanced' is? Pretty much nothing in terms of gameplay, except for some just-not-fancy graphical adjustments. Besides, there just is no mute option. Muting the music has to be done over and over every level/try. 1/5, didn't even try enjoying. Just came here for the 45 points.

I don't often change my ratings for games, because I like to think that after an hour or so of play I have a pretty good indicator if a game like this is going to be worth my while, but the artificial difficulty spike in the third boss as well as the standard play mode is out of control. 3/5, and all 3 of those points are for Enhanced Mode, which should've been the entire game as far as I'm concerned.
