So..I guess he killed his family as a little boy, his mother rebuilt everyone as robots, including herself..? Then she woke the boy after making him into a robot, but didn't make him fully. And so all of the robots he killed was his family..?

Personally, I enjoyed the game; what I found increadibly annoying and irritating though was when I got the invici-armor and when everything went to hell...because that's what happened to the controls with me. Seriously, half the time my jumps would be wildly off course, would happen halfway down my first jump, or not happen at all, and that's not to speak of whenever my character would decide to fall down a long shaft thanks to not interpretting my momentary tap left into an all out button mash.
...but that might be from the computer I'm using. Over all, a solid 4.5.

Pretty good game, but I found that you can sequence break it - when you fight the last three robots, if you die on the final one, you restart at the door and can make your way back to the exit, bypassing the ending of the game.

there IS an alternate ending. after escaping the first time, click continue game on the menu screen and it will bring you to camera 34. Simply walk left and destroy the yellow gates by pressing "up" and shoot. get the power core and enjoy! (nothing happens after the countdown reaches zero, so theres no rush to escape) + this up so everyone can enjoy this game to its full potential =)

The shift lite ad has an extra "so" at "so so click the video below to check it out" just thought i'd point out that typo

Man, I was hoping for something deep and dark for collecting all those letters. For anyone who's wondering what it says, it says "kind of like metroid"...which it is, but the game is still good either way.

I dream of a world where developers finally understand, that playing with z and x is a pain in the ass on european keyboards :) please do us a favor and enable a yx option

at the room with the three bots to destroy, if you miss the initial jump you are not trapped. You can, just barely, jump from the middle ledge to the top one. Hold the initial jump till you are as high as possible, then do the same with the double jump. not an easy jump, but not particularly hard ether. Its not like you can die right there.

I like the way most indie games might as well just be replaced with a big neon sign that reads "HEY PORTAL IS REALLY GOOD GAME YOU GUYS GLADOS IS MIGHT FAVORITE WOMAN"

i just realized you can beat the game without invincibility. when you get the last level gun ignore the ring powerup (invincibility) and just jump in the spikes, go back through the door and get back to the start. once you reach the room right before the start you can (a) triple jump up the ledge, or (b) (not tested) shoot the gold door, speed jump across and climb up. please tell me what happens if you don't get invincibility.

well, it is a good game, but some of the walls are way to high for you to get over. im stuck because i cant jump high enough to get over a wall, and also, the lift things dont seem to lift me to where there supposed to. could be a good game, but if it takes 30 tries to jump over a single wall, theres a problem. 3/5

BUG REPORT - camera 33, the room with the 3 replicas- if you mis-time your jump when you're riding the 'elevator' to the top of the level you become trapped (only have the double jump)
Otherwise an immersive game, but because of the design of this level and having to repeatedly quit and restart it to get myself 'un trapped' only to become trapped again when I get killed by the three mini-bosses made me quit the game. I cannot complete it.
Very disappointing flaw in an otherwise interesting and immersive platformer.

epic fail at the very end when you make the escape if you fall into the spike pit at the escape you start all the way back to where you get the core and you get glitched...sad 2/5

Good game, but I agree with some of the other comments: I just expected more of the story. Not _much_ more, but an alternate ending, some more psychological stuff would have been nice. Not necessarily to the extent Time Kufc (or Cufk or whatever it's name is here) does it, but still. Also, the smilies in "Mother"'s dialogs are very annoying: they somehow seem out of character to me.

good game at first but well it took to long for me i liked the other games similar to this such as the robot wants but this was too long and to dull to hold my attention for long enough i only got up to 31% complete and was already bored

well, i give up. i'm trapped at the bottom of a water area that's impossible to get out of without a triple jump or something that i DON'T HAVE YET!!!

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the game, but I think it fell far short of its potential. It opens as something magnificently twisted and grotesque... then quickly loses sight of the narrative for most of the game. You are fairly quickly re-enabled, and sight is restored, prompting a very strong sense of foreboding. There are all kinds of possibilities with those early upgrades, and they are seemingly just tossed at you. Obviously something monstrous in scope must lie ahead, and a sort of "what the heck was that intro all about" comes over the player. The sparsity of new themes in the middle of the game and mentions of a 'plan' and appearance of enemy clones gives the players mind to go back to the opening sequence and come up with increasingly twisted ideas. Then the ending exposition... what an incredible disappointment. I was also hoping for a possible secondary ending, with what I thought of as the "core" next to the "too late" room. But nothing. Sigh.

*SPOILER ALERT*
So I finished the game, and it really, truly disappointed me. With the dark and dreary atmosphere, the creator could have done something spectacular, something no one would have expected. And the author did, and that was include no twist. This game took me 1 HOUR to finish including collecting the letters, and what did the letters do? They told me that the game was "kind of like Meteroid." I ALREADY KNEW THAT!!!! This game would have been a 5/5 if the author had actually tried to make a halfway decent ending, but instead will slip to a 3/5 from me. Really REALLY disappointing.

first thing i thought after i finished...super metroid on gba, almost exactly the same gameplay, but with a little twist in plot. Not that i minded, i thought it was an overall interesting experience that leaves me with the "i want more" feeling. However, there were parts of the game that i felt were a bit empty and put me off playing slightly. like i just couldn't be bothered anymore, such as when i went into the red area and was like omg, more areas....

It was great and I got 100% but I was expecting an alternate ending. Especially with those yellow blocked off bits near the first robot fight. I explored the entire game during the end sequence (even finding out that the timer doesn't mean anything). Am I missing something?
Cute secret message, btw.
