This badge is great. Even its mere existence definitely made me know myself more, made me take a step back to remember why I never finished this game. And probably won't ever. Nice concept though.

It is beyond stupid to introduce a "well, now let's do the game in reverse, you have to catch yourself" without saying it before nor any possibility to replay stuff. As far as I can see I made a level impossible to be beaten

The last level is rely hard, end you don't even know if it's the last or not.... (it's the one where you have to get back from where you started)

Awesome game, except for one thing (and one star lost for that) - not knowing upfront that in the second half you'll be catching your selves may make it impossible to win on first pass.
Specifically on the hourglass level, be sure NOT to go down the middle. I did and had a hell of a time catching myself. If you drop down the left chimney and just waste some time at the bottom, it'll be very easy.

The characters really is a pain in the ass to control. You can't stop him in the air, sometimes his jumps are ridiculously small, some other times they are huge and you cross almost the entire screen in a single jump and you have to start again. This kills all the fun.

The last level is a bit frustrating, but doable if you make the right opening to run back to entrance. Getting your yellow shadows is cake.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Ok, so I made it literally impossible for me to complete this game since I jumped off a ledge that is impossible to get up to before another shadow jumps down, so I'm stuck at the bottom catching my shadows. Awesome.... and I'm not doing all that again

To help with the badge,a good strategy to get time going and ''take up'' as little space as possible is to jump ap and down at the same spot 2-3 times. That way you lag everything down, and in most stages you can save yourself from looping to open the exit. The only stage where you have to loop is the last one(In the last one you can use this trick 3-4 times before you pass the door the first time)
I hope you can understand what i said.English isn't my native language.

I don't understand all the complaints really. I'm not especially good at platforms games, on the contrary but I nailed this in like 10 minutes tops

It's not that difficult aside from the final level, I finished it in half an hour, but that music is annoying as crap.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It isn't that hard but you must play again to move smart when you're running away. If I only knew from the beggining I'll need to collect myself, it wouldn't be soooooooo f....g much frustrating. I tell you, just play again but smart, don't struggle in pain and anger. At the second time I finished game in less than 10 minutes after ~40 minutes almost yelling at orange dudes.

Wow I would not have put this in the medium badge. What a nightmare,I like a challenge and a challenge this is. However the replayability is non existant. I just didn't find it intresting enough to keep going for the badge. The jump is horrible and trying to time stuff as it stops when you stop moving makes it a bit difficult. Know thyself, I found myself saying move on. One badge of the day I'll let go.

I am starting to see the complaints... there is a slightly older generation who grew up with harder platformers, but when the younger generation grew up they didn't play as much of games like this. Personally it is pretty easy for me.

Heads up for those going for the botd. Midway, the game reverses on you and remembers the paths you take to complete each level so make sure your path isn't too complex. This certainly was a bit rough for a medium badge but overall I enjoyed the game (though I was cursing it a bit). Overall very interesting concept and I enjoyed the fact that it remembers the way you run through for the reversal.

I like this game for the most part. I like the "past self" mechanic with one issue. While it is interesting that time stops when I don't move, I found there were two kinds of levels. Small levels where it was best to move a bit and jump up and down until I had to move again because of a copy, and large levels, where I had room to run around and think about a smart path. The latter is fun, but the former is not. That strategy made the collection phase very easy. As for the jumping, I was doing fine until one level in the collection phase where I started wall jumping off thin air. that level was extremely frustrating. You do a good job of the poetic language as opposed to some games where it's simply pretentious.

I love games that are narrated like this. It makes us think about what we can do to improve ourselves or how we think about life.

First time I played it I did so in a very, walk forward, jump twice, walk forward kind of way. This made the second half quite trivial.
Second time through I played to make a challenge for myself. I love how this was taken into consideration by the game dev. every route can be traversed backwards, or leaves enough time to take an alternate with at most twice as much time.
Controls were reminiscent of earlier flash games.
I don't usually like hipster inspirational "define yourself, follow the path" "words fade for dramatic effect"
But this one was clean, and had a really nice artstyle.
