For those curious about how to play this with SuperNova SWF Enabler plug-in, use this address provided below by copying the entirety of it and pasting it onto the address bar at the top of your browser to ensure that it bypasses the ‘GameShell’ issue that have plagued many earlier games of Kongregate: supernova://play/?swfurl=https://chat.kongregate.com/gamez/0008/9608/live/TimeBenderKong.swf?kongregate_game_version=1282241092 Make sure that your latest installation of SuperNova works correctly, as it will not function if it cannot load games that can work fine without this bypassing of the SWF files here (Used Google Chrome dev tools to get the link).

I feel like this is one of the simplest and best examples of a "game illustrates/imitates life games" and the comments display it. "My past actions are limiting my future options in a way I didn't predict or expect and that feels so unfair!" In other games with past selves, we are more likely to use their bodies as steps to reach a higher level or something, but this is our past, still alive self, to which we more often think "WTF were you thinking, younger me?!?"

You should be able to complete your own game before uploading it. There is no way anybody could play this and not notice how terrible the jumping is.

It can really use a 'restart level' button (r ?), that instantly resets the level, in stead of waiting for the yellow man to reach the end, or aimlessly running to your death after a failed jump.

i got a glitch on the first level with the orange copies where it got stuck on the door after it went in and i didn't die

i got stuck on the 2nd orange level because i was curious to see what would happen if i let the oranges through the door but when you reload you have to start over. No pause or restart button, so i have to start all over.

so then i jumped, then after a while my past self jumped on me, total annihilation, now i wonder whether to move to future or not, means whether to play or not, lol, cuz my past self won't kill me, it loves me :) , hugs to self

Found it clunky at first. Stuck with it, thought I'd reached the end - suddenly new game, new strategy! Glad I stayed with it. Brilliant! 5/5

Honestly this game is awesome. It mix N game's jump physic with Mario galaxy evil shadow's machanic. Those that are complaining havn't apparently played any of those games.

The game and the story is great but the mechanics are bad and they feel slow, especially when jumping, it's just frustrating.

AN INCH FROM THE DOOR AND THE JUMPING KILLS ME.
I AM SO SALTY RIGHT NOW.
ALSO WHY DOES THAT EVEN MAKE SENSE.
AND I LIKE BLUEBERRIES.

It is possible to create impossible situations for yourself. This is ridiculous. The concept is neat, but jumping is way to hard to control which just makes the player shitty

the first time i went through the hourglass, i fell through the middle. it is now physically impossible to get them all without a double jump, since in the time it takes for one to fall, another one spawns, and i can't friggin fly to collect them all!

I love the innovative mechanics and the meaningful message the game sends, but good lord the only jumping this game makes me want to do is off of a bridge.

THIS IS THE WORST GAME EVER IF I HAD THIS GUYS IMAGINATION This GAME WOULD BE RUNNING OFF OF YOUR FING MIC FOR A SOUND BASED GAME

it broke... while i was collecting the memory things they dissapeared completely and i fell into the void thing and its not respawning me or anything so i cant complete the game

Wanted to give the game a 5 for the simplicity, the challenge and the thoughtful game play. Rated a 3 at this time because a game that relies mostly on accuracy and responsiveness needs equally sharp controls. And they're not sharp. They are clunky and the "turn and jump maneuver" whilst running straight detracts from the game. Excited to see where this goes. The wall jumps also seem directionless, and considering how integral they are to the game, they should be controlled more precisely by the player.

It's weird how this game actually broke on me, and the wall jumps are harder than they need to be, but I'm still giving it 4/5 stars. It's a good game aside from those flaws
