This was incredibly hard at some points, and the controls deped out a "few" times, although this game made me continue anyways. Tl;dr, it's beautiful yet hard.

More or less impossible to play on my first run through due to stepping over the door at the start of the halfway point. Screw you game for not revealing your mechanic earlier. :(

Wow! That got pretty interesting in the end. Buuuut was there some philosophical moral in this? I believe there was, but I was too focused on the game mechanics to notice most of the story. 4.5/5

is it sad that I see no/minimal problem with the jumping with this game? I mean, sure it triggers a wall jump when it shouldn't, and vise-versa, but I see no major problem. And, keep in mind that this was made in 2010, over 5 yrs ago.

Not as hard as recent comments make it to be (from somebody that sucks at platformers !). Interesting mechanics (while still a bit unprecise I'll admit). And great "storytelling", done in a clever way.

This game has the worst wall jumping. It's a great concept and the it's not too badly executed, but once you have to start collecting yourself it's just ridiculous how precise you have to be with a jumping system so slippery and temperamental. And when all the walkthroughs you can find don't have the same level you're trying to figure out it doesn't seem right at all. (I think it's near the end of the game, just before the straight room followed by the hourglass.) I've had the level clear of all but one yellow guy, I slip up once (mostly because the game decides I want to jump further than where I wanted, or not wall jump when I should) and there's more guys than when the level started before I can back to the spot that I think I might be able to beat it at. Really disappointed that I probably won't get this badge.

*runs through the first 3 levels* no probs man I got this *encounters a terrible jumping system and in need of timing* WHAT IS THIS SORCERY CHILD, I NEED VICTORY!

The badge shouldn't be a Medium badge, it should be an Annoying badge due to the extremely touchy jump system and pointless move and jump in place, move and jump in place requirement for completing levels. Thus, it's not a medium badge, but a tedious and annoying badge.

This game gets 2 for a good concept and horrible controls. I can never figure out if momentum cares or not. Sometimes I just go flying off an inclined ledge sometimes he drops like a brick.

I've spent too much time going forward. Not doing it again just so I can go backwards. So glad I've got 5 badges of the week done already.

"I beg to differ when people say you can't escape your past"
Certainly, but your past SURE can escape YOU. look at all the oranges heading towards the door that you will never catch.

It's not impossible, but it is challenging. One thing that would have been nice to know up front is that once you hit the final level, you need to go backwards through the levels collecting your past lives as you go. There are some paths you can take going forward which will make this impossible, eg. going down the middle of the hourglass. On that level, you need to follow the outside edges instead. There's a couple of other levels that are similarly painful. Just remember on your forward trip, make sure that you can travel backward through the same level exactly the same way. If you want to try something that's truly impossible, try playing some of the "I Wanna Be The Guy" fan games.

I like how the difficulty depends on your play style, personally i had no trouble finishing the game on my first try without knowing what was coming and quite quickly too but i can see how someone can unknowingly f*** themselves over in the first half.

Easiest way to complete it, double back on yourself just run back in forth in a small section until your past selves catch up, move a bit, repeat. Still way too hard for a medium badge though.

this is kinda a sad game with a silver lining... unless you trick the AI the second half is quite challenging actually, especially the time level

This game should have an option to redo your first path so you won't get stuck forever because it's impossible for you to reach one of your shadows when doing the level the second time.

Anyone else stuck in the level with 8 lying sideways on their way back? I entered the level and there were no shadows of previous me. Had to reset the game but I don't think I'm going to do it again anytime soon since I nearly crushed my keyboard in rage while trying to beat this game for the first time -_-'
