How to win easily: During the first wave, kill all your enemies except for birds. They will not take away your money and they will block the next wave's coming. You have now infinite time to extract tons of oil and build tons of defenses.

it would be rlly helpful if the oil was generated instead of you having to pick it up because thats what a spend most of my time doing

The only thing good about this game is the graphics and that it's bug free as far i'm aware. There are no upgrades except changing elements which is such an unbelievably big mistake. There's no sense of progress, the player doesn't get the feeling he should protect the treasure because he has no reason to do it. The money(oil) system is bad. it's so incredibly easy to build up a huge amount of cannons and then just skip through the rest of the waves. And since there are no cannon upgrades the only thing you can do is build more and wait till the level ends. I didn't even unlock the last 2 buildings/weapons since i was very bored and there was no challenge at all.
Get more weapons. upgrades for everything. And like ship upgrades so that you actually become stronger as the game progresses. so for example: you can buy more pirates, better guns, better cannons etc

how to get the pieces of eight:1)click on all the moving pictures of trees,animals,and cannonballs the kracken will run across the sea click on it to get this one. 2)do NOT use the kracken in the tutoriol level. 3-5)get 4 stars on every level on the islands. 6) beat the first level. 7) gain 4 stars on every level 8) click on '' more games'' in the title screen.

Why is there no option to delete towers? Some owls got stuck trying to kill a dead cannon and it took two kraken calls to kill all 3 of them.

It would be great if the birds could be killed by something other than the kraken after they breach into my defense, great game tought 5/5

I really don't think that this game is too hard, it is challenging at some points, but that's what a good game should be like. you just have to find the right mix between cannons and oil pumps! great game with very cool graphics and sounds. 5 of 5 from me.

I think that using the Kraken should not negate from your star rating, if your able too collect enough oil too use it then thats all it should need..

I dislike when someone compares games like this to games that just came out a couple years ago. These games have been around for over 10 years. Get over it. PvZ was not original.

This would be amazing game if it weren't so, well, not. Great style, great concept, but when you start playing it, you notice a lot of cracks in the veneer. If a tutorial bubble (or new enemy description) pops up when the build menu is open, it ends up underneath, and you will never see it. I was using shift and space at the start of a level, and it got stuck in fast-foward. And the birds--my god those damn birds. So many issues with those stupid things: Catapults refusing to target them after they've dropped their payload, even after they come back down. Birds skipping obstacles and then bombing empty squares. Birds bombing the same square over and over and over again. It's actually a good thing that they have movement glitches, because the horrid targeting often makes them nigh-invincible once they start blowing up your stuff. I want to love this game--I really do, but I wouldn't expect anything out of alpha-stage to glitch out on me this much within about 20 minutes of playing.

This game is okay, but for the love of all that is expected, speed up the cut-scenes. This is so painful. The first time I use Kraken, the storyline is unbearable.

took the kraken 10 minutes to summon (laggy!!!) so i stopped playing at that point. don't have this problem with any other flash games, so i suspect its with the coding. please fix!

Boring soulless game. Needs more storyline or something... at least PvZ had some kind of girth rather than wave after wave after wa...*yawn* ...zzZzz...
